Today, the Old City Hall continues to serve as a cherished landmark, reminding Calgarians of their roots and the enduring spirit that shaped their city. It was recently reopened after completing a several-year-long restoration of both the exterior sandstone and interiors of the building so that it can possibly stand for a century or more longer.
