It was a night full of fun and excitement as the Bukidnon’s pride, ‘Jayson in Town’, had their first jamming session at Agusan Canyon, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines, in commemoration of the festive celebration led by Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Agusan Canyon.

This special event is impossible without the continuous support of the Local Government Unit of the municipality.

Perhaps it was jamming for a cause featuring one of the most renowned Reggae bands with the special participation of local bands such as the Hazukashii, Summersky, and Diesel Society.

Tickets were available for two dollars or one hundred pesos. A lot have already reserved their tickets just before the event. So, we thought that we could not get into the venue anymore. All of us thought that the tickets at the booth were not available. But we were wrong, for we could still enter the place.

We arrived at the venue around 8 p.m., and I witnessed a massive crowd still buying tickets. It was hard to buy tickets because the line to the booth was long. We waited for a while; good thing we had a friend who offered to buy a ticket for us, so we skipped the queue.

Outside the venue, many barangay police officers and soldiers were scattered all around the corner to get ready for any trouble that may come in a blink.

Suddenly, there was a drunk man who had caused trouble just before the band had performed because there was a blackout for a moment. Out of his mind, he complained and even spoke bad words that made the barangay police officers and soldiers call his attention, making him vanish on the reggae night.

It was not only a night of enjoyment but also camaraderie and celebration as I met old friends and new ones. I have also seen my former and current students watching the live performance, and they jammed together with the ‘Jayson in Town’ band. It has been a while since I have not witnessed a live band performance. I was so excited and thrilled to see and witness jamming with everyone.

Before the most awaited band presented to the crowd, the frontal bands performed first. Although they had their excellent performance, still the people were thrilled to see a glimpse of the ‘Jayson in Town.’

Meanwhile, at around 10 p.m., the most awaited band came with a beautiful reggae beat as they fixed their musical instruments with a loud noise from the crowd, who were excited to hear and see them perform live on stage, and it ended at 1 a.m.

The band came from Kitaotao, Bukidnon. So they traveled for more or less five hours to reach the municipality of Manolo Fortich. But they are already known for performing in all parts of the Philippines. They played their original pieces of music, and famous artists revived some songs.

Indeed it was a bright night full of enjoyment, a night full of live reggae music, an evening of camaraderie, and festive celebration, and it was a memorable day for all Manoleños, the awesome people of Manolo Fortich.

Nkaa suroy diay ka adto sis. Ako wlaa. I tawon kay duty sa kids lols. Prepared na raba unta kaayumusaby ug kanta nila. Hehe.

But hubby was there and he got to take a picture with some of the band members, I just don't know if these were from Jason in town band

Heheh, there were frontal bands before the Jayson In Town performed, sis. It was okay to bring the kids. I have seen many parents bringing their kids and how funny it was they end up sleeping. Hehe. I wish you were there. Next time, maybe they will be performing once more here in Manolo. See you sis.

Someday sis.
Oh I remember I did the laundry back then while listening to the sounds brought into my direction by the wind.

And I even though of posting sila: Jasuson in Town
Ako: laba intawn. Haha but never posted it though.

Someday sis, i will go in an event like that. Perhaps this coming fiesta next year

They were here in our place last time also during the Linggo ng Kabataan activity by SK but I did not go for some personal reasons. I heard there was a ramble that happened there. In Camp Phillips, the place was surrounded by many police officers and soldiers. Next time sis, I know you will enjoy it. Ehhe

someday sis, hopefully. Yeah gubot gyud daw kaayo adtng linggo ng nkabataan,

That looks like a great night out. I hope there was beer involved too :-)

Take care and have a lovely weekend :-)

Yes, there were beers dear, nathen. There was an intended place outside the venue were many stalls displayed with food products and souvenirs. A lot of barbeques were grilled, too. It was a night full if fun and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you so much for the well wishes my friend. Have a wonderful day and stay blessed. !PIZZA

It's been a while since I was able to witness live performances like these.
Oh, well I went to Pampanga this year for the balloon and music festival but the event was so disappointing..
Ended up wasting a penny for nothing.

Since the pandemic started, I have not attended an event like this. Good thing I only spent one hundred pesos here, hehe. But in other places, the entrance fee was five hundred to one thousand pesos, most especially when there was foam party after. Reggae music is love.

So you like reggae sis..enjoy cguro kyo

I love reggae pieces of music, sis, but I so love acoustics more, hehe. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the night as we celebrate the festive celebration.

I can imagine the crowd's excitement just by looking at your photos!
Glad you had a fun TGIF pinkchic!

TGIF witz! Hehe, I always wish for more Fridays. It’s like unwinding, too. Everyone seemed away from problems and pressures here. !PIZZA
