Playa Quizandal / Quizandal beach
Hace tiempo una amiga me dijo para ir a Isla Larga, un bellísimo lugar del estado Carabobo (Venezuela) con arenas blancas y aguas clarísimas, ideales para ver el fondo marino y sus habitantes. Nos fuimos temprano en su carro hacia la ciudad costera de Puerto Cabello y unos 10 minutos después ya estábamos en Quizandal, la playa que les muestro en estas fotos.
Ya había estado antes en Isla Larga pero no me había detenido a observar Playa Quizandal, la cual posee un paisaje muy bonito con las montañas alrededor. En uno de sus extremos está el embarcadero donde se toman las lanchas para ir a Isla Larga y desde allí hice estas dos tomas mientras hacíamos la fila para montarnos.
Esta playa es parte del Parque Nacional San Esteban, cuenta con servicios turísticos y es muy visitada los fines de semana o feriados. No es muy grande y su oleaje es suave. El cielo estaba algo nublado ese día pero me gustaron cómo quedaron los colores en estas fotos.
Some time ago a friend told me to go to Isla Larga, a beautiful place in Carabobo state (Venezuela) with white sands and crystal clear waters, ideal to see the seabed and its inhabitants. We left early in her car towards the coastal city of Puerto Cabello and about 10 minutes later we were already in Quizandal, the beach I show you in these pictures.
I had been to Isla Larga before but I had not stopped to look at Quizandal Beach, which has a very beautiful landscape with the mountains around it. At one end of the beach is the pier where you take the boats to Isla Larga and from there I took these two shots while we were waiting in line to get on the boat.
This beach is part of the San Esteban National Park, has tourist services and is very popular on weekends and holidays. It is not very big and its waves are gentle. The sky was a bit cloudy that day but I liked the way the colors turned out in these photos.
