This is a little introduction post for a new personal project I am starting here on LikeTu!
Eugene, OR has some awesome parks that are really well maintained. There is one park, Owen Rose Garden that is really unlike the others. This place has more species of roses than I have seen anywhere else.
Yeah I am a big manly dude that likes flowers, lol. Sue me, haha. But being that there are so many different varieties, I want to document them all with a little photo project,
The park entrance has a nice arch way that leads to a big court heard type of thing. There some really nice trees, a big gazebo, and benches everywhere so you can enjoy the peaceful park.
Today I went through and took the first series of pictures for this week’s posts. This also give me a good reason to get out and enjoy some nature as well as work on my iPhone photography skills.

Yeah it’s a pretty awesome spot. I am really starting this project too late in the season, but I am wanting to get what I can before all the blooms start to die off.

I'll also add, that now that I've seen these beautiful pictures, I've got a better idea of what Eugene, Oregon is like. I've heard so much about it over the years because of it's cultural impact in sports and athletics and it's always been a plan to visit one day.
