Coincidimos cuando la vida me tenía dando tumbos. Como si acabara de salir del tambor de la lavadora, terminando ciclos. Con los sentimientos escurridos y el corazón aún empapado. Me sacaste del cubo, me sacudiste las arrugas y luego me tendiste con cuidado desnudo al sol.
Yo era ese calcetín desparejado que se coló entre tu ropa para acabar en la cuerda floja del tendedero de tu cariño. Un intruso que por descuido se mezcló entre tus prendas más intimas para acabar tiñendo toda tu colada. Coloreando juntos nuestras vidas. Colgados de esta nueva emoción con olor a suavizante y a limpio.

We coincided when life had me stumbling around. As if I had just come out of the washing machine drum, finishing cycles. With my feelings wrung out and my heart still soaking wet. You pulled me out of the bucket, shook out the wrinkles and then laid me carefully naked in the sun.
I was that mismatched sock that slipped through your clothes to end up on the clothesline of your affection. An intruder that carelessly got mixed among your most intimate garments to end up dyeing all your laundry. Coloring together our lives. Hanging on this new emotion with the smell of fabric softener and cleanliness.

Me emocionó @esbat . La corta narración hace énfasis en la "lavandería de la vida". En la que siempre hay tiempos difíciles que se pueden, de un momento a otro, transformar en dichosos eventos que nos cambian por completo. En este caso se refleja muy bien la relación de soledad de una persona que, de repente, se consigue con su alma afín.
