Hola, Peladiente. 💀🌹💀🌺💀
Me emociona mucho hacer este post, no solo por rendirle honor a todos los difuntos, sino para homenajear a todos los usuarios mexicanos que hay en esta plataforma y por supuesto a mis padrinos.
La Catrina figura calavérica con flores de muchos colores y que en particular me encanta por su arte, es una figura creada originalmente por José Guadalupe Posada en el año 1910, es llamada La Calavera Garbancera, cuyo nombre proviene de la palabra «Garbancera» por las personas que tenian sangre indígena, vendían garbanza, pero pretendían ser europeos, dejando atrás su herencia y hasta su cultura...
Aunque la representación de esta figura, la hicieron tallada en metal, se especifica en la literatura, como una calavera solo con sombrero grande estilo frances, sin ropa... Haciendo referencia textual, Posada tenía la idea que "La muerte, es democrática, ya que a fin de cuentas, güera, morena, rica o pobre, toda la gente acaba siendo calavera".
Lo interesante de esta historia, es sus inicios, los cuales, datan a partir de 1858 durante los períodos de gobierno de los presidentes Mexicanos desde Benito Juárez, Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada hasta Porfirio Díaz. Durante este tiempo, la clase media criticaba mediante escritos con dibujos de esqueletos y craneos, un tanto burlones, vestidos de ropa cara,cn plumas y bebiendo pulque, la misería e hipocresía de la sociedad y las equivocaciones de los políticos, que se reflejaban en la situación del país como el comportamiento de la clase privilegiada.
Años más tarde, el muralista Diego Rivera, destacado muralista mexicano, la bautizó como La Catrina, cuyo nombre logró definirlo de la palabra "catrin" que representaba a un hombre elegantemente vestido en compañia de una dama, como digno representante de la opulencia mexicana.
En la actualidad, esta figura que tiene más de 100 años de antiguedad, representa parte de la cultura mexicana, de sus costumbres, de su artesanía, de su riqueza espiritual y de su visión frente a la muerte, la cual, es utilizada por artesanos, cineastas como inspiración para varias películas: El Libro de la Vida, COCO, entre otras y personas en general, que aman o le da curiosidad lo que significa, así como, para este día de los muertos, en donde acompañada de unas hermosas tradiciones, como el altar, sus ofrendas u otras actividades, permite recordar y darle la bienvenida a todos sus muertos...
