In my hometown, the traffic isn't any less crowded than in Ciputat, but in the morning, the air quality is definitely better in my village. Plus, I can only go for a run in the morning when I'm participating in a race or visiting my hometown. Because I have the whole day off.
The two long runs I did were on the 15th and 20th of August. It has been a while. But hopefully, that’s okay. Because I want to record it here on my blog.
At first, I wanted to invite my sister, but it turned out she couldn’t because she had something to take care of in the morning. So, I went alone. Looking at my Strava record, I started my run before six o’clock. Why? Well, of course, so I wouldn’t be too late in reaching my target. By the way, I didn’t really set a target for how far I had to run. I just ran until I felt satisfied.
You can see that my pace was very relaxed. On the 15th, I ran 11 kilometres in 1 hour 26 minutes with an average pace of 7:50/km. On the 20th, I ran even further, 15 kilometres in a total time of 2 hours and minutes with an average pace of 8:18/km.

However, what was enjoyable was the clear sky and fresh air. I could also see and take photos at the dam or the iconic long bridge connecting two districts: Pekalongan and Pemalang.

So that’s a glimpse of my long runs while at home. Everything was enjoyable—the place, the air, the sky, even my energy. Thank you for reading. See you in my next running log.

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
