Some time ago, Grandma gave my daughters this cute egg shaker. The truth is that we all liked it because of the loud sound it made, and after some tutorials on YouTube, it was a lot of fun to achieve some sound patterns, just like with maracas.

Along with this little egg they also received some drumsticks, which as you can imagine, at first were used in drums and containers and later they were, as you know, sticks and pointers.

However, the time in the hands of very young girls did not favor it much. So I decided to rescue it and give it a new life.

First, We painted the egg with black acrylic painting.

After it dried, my daughters and I painted some flowers and leaves, taking great care to keep our hands dry so that the black paint would not run.To finish, I applied a coat of varnish.

With a new life, my daughters got excited again and have used it quite a bit. Knowing that they could paint things that looked worn has led us to make new faces to old dolls (every time, they like to change their gestures), paint the wooden blocks to build, in short, paint half the toys.

I hope you like it, because after all, there is nothing more beautiful than art art fulfilling its playful purpose.
