A veces las cosas no salen como se planean, pero siempre buscamos la manera de adaptarnos y resolver de alguna u otra forma. Hoy mi hijo cumple sus 8 años, no ha sido facil pero hemos logrado mucho, estamos diariamente aprendiendo junto con él, yo jamás fui de llevarme con niños, realmente odiaba convivir con ellos, pero desde hace 8 años vivo en un constante aprendizaje, en fin, estuvimos planeando este día por meses pero nuestros planes se cayeron desde el viernes.
Sometimes things don't go as planned, but we always find a way to adapt and work things out one way or another. Today my son turns 8. It hasn't been easy, but we've accomplished a lot. We're learning alongside him every day. I never used to get along well with kids; I really hated being around them. But for the last 8 years, I've been constantly learning. Anyway, we'd been planning this day for months, but our plans fell apart on Friday.
Resulta que mi hijo tiene un dedo del pie infectado por comérselo al extremo, fue horrible ver que tenia el dedo super hinchado y lleno de pus, ni siquiera ha podido ir a la escuela y cuando salimos a lugares cercanos sale en cholas. Evidentemente esto hizo que nuestros planes se desvanecieran, desde ese día trabajamos duro en curarle la infección para que hoy pudiera salir, pero, a pesar de estar mejor, no se ve lo suficientemente sano como para poder salir por horas a un parque y al cine (como lo habíamos planeado)
It turns out my son has an infected toe from biting it so hard. It was awful to see his toe super swollen and full of pus. He hasn't even been able to go to school, and when we go to nearby places, he wears flip-flops. Obviously, this ruined our plans. Since that day, we've worked hard to treat the infection so he could go out today, but even though he's better, he doesn't seem healthy enough to go out for hours to a park and the movies (like we had planned).
A pesar de eso, decidimos que haríamos su día especial aunque no pudiésemos salir, comenzamos comiendo pizza que a mi hijo le encanta-
Despite that, we decided we would make his day special even though we couldn't go out; we started by eating pizza, which my son loves.
Luego cantamos cumpleaños con su pastel de Demon Slayer, el cual quedo demasiado hermoso y delicioso.
Then we sang "Happy Birthday" with his Demon Slayer cake, which turned out absolutely beautiful and delicious.
Abrió sus regalos y estaba super feliz
He opened her presents and was super happy.
Dormimos en la sala para hacer la noche especial y simular que acampábamos jaja.
We slept in the living room to make the night special and pretend we were camping haha.
Fuimos a nuestra heladería favorita para pasar la tarde al aire libre pero a la vez estando muy cerca de casa, lo malo es que se fue la luz justo cuando nos sentamos a tomarnos nuestro batido jajaja y tuvimos que subir las escaleras de casa por que obviamente el ascensor no servía
We went to our favorite ice cream shop to spend the afternoon outdoors but still be very close to home. The bad thing is that the power went out just as we sat down to have our milkshakes, haha, and we had to go up the stairs to our building because obviously the elevator wasn't working.
Y después de llegar a casa, esperamos que la luz volviera para ver una película juntos y se animo a ver una peli de terror que en realidad no da nada de miedo lol. five nights at freddy's es probablemente la película más suave que existe y bueno, es perfecta para un niño jaja no se asusto ni una sola vez, en cambio al juego si le tiene mucho miedo, aun asi pidió de regalo un peluche de Freddy’s
And after getting home, we waited for the power to come back on so we could watch a movie together, and he decided to watch a horror movie that wasn't actually scary at all, lol. Five Nights at Freddy's is probably the tamest movie ever made, and well, it's perfect for a kid, haha. He wasn't scared even once, but he's terrified of the game. Even so, he asked for a Freddy's plushie as a gift.
Aunque no eran los planes que hicimos durante meses, fue un día especial, mi hijo esta muy feliz y no deja de repetir que le encanto su torta y tambien presume sus regalos a cada momento, bueno, lo importante es que recuerde su cumpleaños con amor.
Although it wasn't the plan we made for months, it was a special day. My son is very happy and keeps saying how much he loved his cake, and he also shows off his gifts every moment. Well, the important thing is that he remembers his birthday with love.
