Spanish Hola, mi nombre es Alfredo, soy venezolano, llevo 4 años viviendo en Colombia. Soy profesional en Trabajo Social graduado en la Universidad de Oriente.

Vine a Colombia para de mejorar mi salud. Padezco de Artritis Reumatoide y en Venezuela no se encontraban los medicamentos para relentizar la enfermedad. Desde hace 3 años tengo tratamiento, gracias a que estaba trabajando en una Cafetería Restaurante. Debido a la pandemia el restaurante donde trabajaba cerro y quede desempleado, por los momentos estoy trabajo por mi cuenta, no he buscado empleo formal debido a que los medicamentos que tomo debilitan el sistema inmunológico, por lo que me ha dado miedo contraer el virus. Gracias a Dios me ha ido medianamente bien, no gano mucho pero me sirve para cubrir mis gastos básicos.

Si se preguntan porque no ejerzo la profesión, es porque salí rápido de Venezuela y no me dio tiempo apostillar los documentos. Aunque también influye el hecho de que la convalidación de título es costosa y debo trabajar para poder subsistir.

Por otra parte, vivir en otro país es difícil porque no puedes ver a tus seres queridos, debes a acostumbrarte y adaptarte a otra cultura. Lo que aprendiste en tu país no es lo que se vivencia en otro y debemos respetar las creencias, valores y costumbres de ese nuevo país donde estamos residiendo.

Colombia es un país hermoso, en el camino he encontrado con personas buenas y otras no tanto. Pero así es en todos lados. Solo hay que seguir adelante sin mirar atrás, ni pensar mal.

I came to Colombia to improve my health. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and in Venezuela there were no medicines to slow down the disease. Thank God I have been doing fairly well, I don't earn much but it is enough to cover my basic expenses.

If you are wondering why I do not practice my profession, it is because I left Venezuela quickly and I did not have time to apostille my documents. Although it is also influenced by the fact that the validation of the degree is expensive and I have to work to make ends meet.

On the other hand, living in another country is difficult because you cannot see your loved ones, you must get used to and adapt to another culture. What you learned in your country is not what you experience in another and we must respect the beliefs, values and customs of the new country where we are living.

Colombia is a beautiful country, along the way I have met good people and others not so good. But that is the way it is everywhere. We just have to move forward without looking back or thinking bad.

Spanish Soy una persona sencilla, me encanta el dulce, suelo hacer tortas, dulces, galletas, helados, comidas, panes. En la Universidad solía hacer tortas frías y las vendía por encargo, me generaba un buen ingreso para cubrir mis gastos de estudio y ocio, y me alcanzaba para darle a mis padres. Por ello digo que mi negocio ideal es un café donde se pueda degustar desde un buen café, galletas, tortas, pan y pasar un rato ameno solo o en compañía. También me gusta leer, aprender cosas nuevas, por lo general me encanta hacer de todo un poco, por lo que quisiera abordar diferentes temáticas en este blog.

Por último deseo volver a mi hogar y abrazar a mis familiares. Los quiero y extraño muchísimo.
