(ESP/ENG) Mi cumpleaños 27/ my 27th bday

Hola Hive! Como están? Espero que muy bien! Hoy les quiero contar sobre lo que fue la celebración de mi cumpleaños 27. Yo con los cumpleaños me voy a los extremos o no hago prácticamente nada porque no les voy a mentir, siempre me entran las crisis existenciales de porque voy a celebrar que me hago vieja o me voy por algo muy elaborado con piñata incluida (en mi familia amamos las piñatas, no importa la edad que tengamos), como el año pasado la celebración fue bastante pequeña por motivos de Covid, decidí que está celebración fuera un poco más grande, porque también ha sido un buen año, he logrado bastantes cosas y estoy muy contenta.

Hi Hive! How are you doing? I hope you are doing great! Today I want to tell you about my 27th birthday celebration. I go to extremes with birthdays or I do practically nothing because I'm not going to lie, I always have existential crises because I'm going to celebrate that I'm getting old or I go for something very elaborate with piñata included (in my family we love piñatas, no matter how old we are), as last year the celebration was quite small because of Covid, I decided that this celebration was a little bigger, because it has also been a good year, I have achieved many things and I'm very happy.

Decidimos hacer unos perritos calientes con familia y mis amigos más cercanos, lo más fancy que plané fue la torta. Estaba demasiado nerviosa porque no queria que me pasará lo de expectativa vs. realidad jajaja! A la persona que se la contraté ya le había encargado arreglos, más nunca algo de repostería y menos de tal envergadura porque era una torta relativamente grande. Gracias a Dios la torta quedó prácticamente igual a la que les mandé y estaba deliciosa. El topping era de crema de mantequilla y el relleno de mermelada y arequipe. Los perritos los hicimos self-service y pusimos distintos toppings, la verdad comimos mucho jajaja! Mi abuela también hizo una gelatina de colores. Intente arreglar con una cortina, unos banderines y unos globos, pero la verdad esas cosas no me salen tan bien :( mis primas que arreglan bonito emigraron hace tiempo.

El día empezó súper bien, estaba acostada perezeando cuando mi novio me escribió que en un rato iba para la casa, me trajo un desayuno y un regalo, que era una franela de mi banda favorita (Blink 182) que tenía tiempo queriendo, todo estaba muy lindo y super rico🥰.

We decided to do some hot dogs with family and my closest friends, the fanciest thing I planned was the cake. I was too nervous because I didn't want the expectation vs. reality thing to happen to me hahaha! I had already ordered arrangements from the person I hired it from, but I had never done any baking before and even less of such a big size because it was a relatively big cake. Thank God the cake was practically the same as the one I sent them and it was delicious. The topping was butter cream and the filling was jam and arequipe. We made the dogs self-service and put different toppings, we really ate a lot hahaha! My grandmother also made a colorful jelly. I tried to arrange with a curtain, some banners and some balloons, but the truth is that those things don't work so well for me :( my cousins who arrange pretty things emigrated a long time ago. The day started off great, I was lying down relaxing when my boyfriend wrote me that he was coming home in a while, he brought me breakfast and a present, which was a t-shirt of my favorite band (Blink 182) that I had been wanting for a long time, everything was very nice and delicious!

Después fuimos a casa de mi abuela (donde sería la reunión) a limpiar un poco y mi tía nos invitó a comer pabellón, estaba riquísimo. Se nos hizo un poco tarde y tuve que alistarme como en 45min me dio un poco de estrés jajaja porque tenía todo un maquillaje planeado pero no me daba el tiempo para eso, así que opte por algo más sencillo. Por cierto, no me había dado de lo difícil que es posar, quería unas fotos bonitas para Instagram y a pesar de que me tomaron como 812827171716 los resultados no fueron los esperados😂. Then we went to my grandmother's house (where the meeting would be) to clean up a bit and my aunt invited us to eat pavilion, it was delicious. It got a little late and I had to get ready in about 45 minutes, it gave me a little stress hahaha because I had a whole makeup planned but I didn't have time for that, so I opted for something simpler. By the way, I hadn't realized how hard it is to pose, I wanted some nice pictures for Instagram and even though they took me like 812827171716 the results weren't what I expected😂. Todo salió muy bien, comimos mucho, hablamos bastante y me dieron varios regalitos, especialmente chucherías, tengo para varios meses😍! también recibí muchos mensajes que decían cosas muy bonitas sobre mi que fueron bastante reconfortantes. Espero que esté año nuevo este lleno de cosas bonitas y de salud. Gracias por llegar hasta aquí, es todo por hoy.

Everything went very well, we ate a lot, we talked a lot and they gave me several gifts, especially sweets, I have for several months😍! I also received many messages that said very nice things about me that were quite comforting. I hope this new year is full of beautiful things and health.
