Saludos a todos mis queridos lectores hoy vengo con una foto que tome ya hace un par de años pero que no deja de gustarme, es la foto de un lagarto verde, muy abundante por estas zonas tropicales.
The green lizard feeds on insects and extremely quickly when it is attacked it can jump from very large trees, it can even splash around in the water, spreading the skin pieges it has between its fingers causing an air pocket to form between the water and its hands preventing it from sinking.
El lagarto verde se alimenta de insectos y sumamente rápido cuando se ve atacado puede saltar de arboles muy grandes, incluso puede esplintar sobre el agua, extendiendo los piegles de piel que tiene entre los dedos haciendo que se forme una bolsa de aire entre el agua y sus manos evitando esto que se hunda.

The surroundings of the place where the photo was taken are full of mango trees, so I guess this lizard possibly lived or inhabits, one of those trees. However, at that moment it descended right in front of me, the light of a hot day favored the photo as well as the green environment that surrounded it, the green and blue of the lizard only contrasted with the dark gray of the concrete.
Los alrededores del sitio donde se tomo la foto esta plagado de arboles de mango, por lo que intuyo que este lagarto posiblemente habitaba o habita, uno de esos arboles. Sin embargo en ese momento descendió de paso justo frente a mi lado, la luz de un día caluroso favoreció la foto al igual que el entorno verde que lo rodeaba, el verde y azul del lagarto solo hacía contraste con el gris oscuro del concreto.
So the photo didn't have to be very retouched, I just cut it out and gave some light to the concrete to highlight the figure of my beautiful green lizard. The original photo is as follows:

The Larceta viridis or green lizard in this photo looks like a female because of the green spot on its back, although it is not possible to see if its belly is yellow or orange in the photo to be able to corroborate this fact with certainty, but if it is, the females usually move to the ground to make holes and lay their eggs, which they generally do not care for, and leave these future lizards to chance, since they are born with the capacity to jump out of a tree, swim and run.

La Larceta viridis o lagarto verde de esta foto es al parece una hembra por su mancha verde en el lomo, aunque no se logre ver si su vientre es amarillento o anaranjado en la foto para poder corroborar con certeza este dato, pero si así lo fuere las hembras suelen desplazarse al suelo para hacer huecos y colocar sus huevos que generalmente no cuidan y dejar a la suerte estos futuros lagartos, pues los mismos nacen ya con capacidades de saltar de un árbol, nadar y correr.

Lo difícil que es tomar esta foto, porque ellos se mueven muy rápido 🤭 si apenas sienten que estás cerca... desaparecen entre los árboles
Hola @enmy Si me ayudo un poco que había como una escalera en diagonal a donde estaba el lagarto y pues me puse allí me estire como pude y tome la foto.. Me encanta es como se mezclan los colores con las plantas que habían allí
