In this post; I'll share my winning match with GIANT SQUID in splinterlands.
And with this post; I'm going to join SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! - with GIANT SQUID in Steem and in Hive.

Although there are far larger monsters in the oceans, Giant Squids are some of the most ruthless. They leave trails of corrosive ink wherever they go, and they enjoy toying with their prey before killing and eating it. Luckily for otherwise vulnerable water-breathers, the moaning cry of the Giant Squids announces their arrival for miles in every direction. Source

- I just created this post sharing a video of one of my battles using GIANT SQUID.
- Just finished tagging splinterlands and spt.
- So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with dragon splinter.
A Brief Info About The Match
I was at DIamond 3.
The battles mana cap was 50 with "Heavy Hitters and Lost Legendaries" Rules.
My opponent used water splinter in this battle.
I bought 5 cards of GIANT SQUID and combined em to make one with level 2.
My Lineup.
I had my Goblin Mech in level 5, Manticore in level 3, Prismatic Energy in level 4, Elven Cutthroat in level 5, Cyclops in level 4 & Giant Squid in level 2.
It was my setup.
And my opponent had his cards as Frozen Soldier in level 7, Glatinous Cube in level 5, Sea Monster in level 3, Goblin Mech in level 8, Torhilo The Frozen in level 1 & Raging Impaler in level 1.
I'm pretty much sure that I won the match easily cause my opponent used only melee attack monsters.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.
No 01: Goblin Mech (Common Neutral Monster)
This mechanical monstrosity is a recent creation of Gurklies Gobson, the wild and wealthy Goblin scientist. As with everything the Goblins make, it runs on Goblin power, meaning that it’s full of Goblins, turning cranks and pulling levers. The Mech is run by seven Goblins in addition to the pilot. Source
My Goblin Mech is in level 6 with 5 melee attack, 3 speed, 6 shield, 7 health with "Piercing & Stun" ability.
It needs 10 mana.

No 02: Manticore (Epic Dragon Monster)
Another product of the twisted genetic experiments of the Gloridax is on the loose. The hybrid monster known as the Manticore is a cross between a Dragon, a Lion, a scorpion, and countless other monstrosities from which it draws its powers. Except when summoned to battle, the Manticore answers to no one. Source
My Manticore is in level 3 with 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 7 health with "Flying & Reach" ability.

No 03: Prismatic Energy (Rare Neutral Monster)
A Gloridax experiment gone awry has resulted in a blinding Prismatic Energy loose in the Splinterlands. The Gloridax news briefs have assured the public that there is only one Prism on the loose, but the mysterious Energy moves fast, leaving a wake of magical destruction wherever it goes. Source
My Prismatic Energy is in level 6 with 2 magic attack, 5 speed, 10 health with "Magic Reflect & Void" ability.
It needs 8 mana.

No 04: Elven Cutthroat (Common Neutral Monster)
Elves can be found living in many of the forests of the Splinterlands. They live in the trees, but come down often to collect resources from the forest floor. Though the elves are small and beautiful, they always have a seemingly endless supply of concealed knives, with which they are deadly accurate. Source.
My Elven Cutthroat is in level 5 with 2 melee attack, 4 speed, 3 health with "Sneak" ability.

No 05: Cyclops Rare Neutral Monster
There are not many Cyclops left in the Burning Lands; they are a remnant from long before the Splintering. More than anything, the Cyclops like to throw things, which makes them a terrifying opponent. Once each Ferexia year, all the Cyclops meet in the south for their annual Throwing Games. Source
My Cyclops is in level 5 with 3 melee attack, 1 speed, 7 health with "Shield" ability.

- Yeah my strategy work out perfectly and I don't think I'll use Giant Squid again if I don't need to.
- This is the first time that I played with this card.
