Las Salinas de las Cumaraguas is an obligatory stop when visiting the northeast of the beautifully arid Paraguaná peninsula, at a certain time of year its salts are stained with a particular pink product of the tannin contained in its waters.

It is a still rural and lonely region, but which in turn was always connected with the metropolis, due to the artisanal and industrial exploitation of its salt flats and its strategic geographical location facing the Caribbean Sea and the Netherlands Antilles.

Las Salinas de las Cumaraguas en un lugar de parada obligada cuando se visita el noreste de la hermosamente árida península de Paraguaná, en cierta época del año sus sales se tiñen de un particular rosado producto del tanino contenido en sus aguas.

Es una región aún rural y solitaria pero que a su vez siempre estuvo conectada con la metrópolis, por la explotación artesanal e industrial de sus sus salinas y su ubicación geográfica estratégica de cara al mar caribe y las Antillas Holandesas.
