Esta es mi entrada para el CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE #9 de la amiga @jennyzer. Ya he participado en otras ediciones de este challenge porque me gusta reciclar, siempre hay algo a lo que le podemos dar una segunda oportunidad y reutilizar.
Mi participación esta vez es para reciclar de nuevo algunos CDs, en casa tenemos muchos y esta es la ocasión ideal para crear algunas ideas.
Los materiales a usar, por supuesto, los discos compactos, pinturas al frío y pinceles.
This is my entry for the CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE #9 from my friend @jennyzer. I have already participated in other editions of this challenge because I like to recycle, there is always something we can give a second chance and reuse.
My participation this time is to recycle again some CDs, at home we have a lot of them and this is the ideal occasion to create some ideas.
The materials* to use, of course, CDs, cold paints and brushes.
Comencé a pintar un fondo con la pintura al frío de color blanco. Tuve que pasarle dos manos de la pintura para que cubriera un poco más.
Me encanta hacer estas iniciativas porque invitan a reciclar, a crear y dejar volar nuestra imaginación, mientras nos relajamos y dejamos la mente tranquila un rato, solo con las ideas de lo que queremos hacer. Por supuesto, mi cafecito no puede faltar, siempre tengo uno a la mano cuando estoy haciendo manualidades.
I started painting a background with the white cold paint. I had to apply two coats of the paint so that it would cover a little more.
I love to do these initiatives because they invite us to recycle, to create and let our imagination fly, while we relax and let our minds rest for a while, just with the ideas of what we want to do. Of course, my coffee is a must, I always have one on hand when I'm making crafts.
Esperé un rato que la base secara. Mientras tanto, decidí que pintaría unos jardines. Como me gustan mucho las flores y los cactus, eso me inspiró.
Cuando la base blanca secó completamente, tomé una esponjita con la pintura azul para hacer el cielo, así fui dando golpecitos suaves para darle textura.
Con la pintura marrón di pinceladas para que semejara la tierra.
I waited a while for the base to dry. In the meantime, I decided that I would paint some gardens. Since I really like flowers and cactus, that inspired me.
When the white base was completely dry, I took a little sponge with the blue paint to make the sky, so I tapped it gently to give it texture.
With the brown paint I made brush strokes to resemble the earth.
Luego, pinté los cactus de un verde oscuro. Los cactus me parecen unas plantas hermosas, son de fácil cuidado y me inspiran fortaleza porque a pesar de que necesitan poco para sobrevivir, se mantienen firmes, verdes y hasta florecen.
Y mi pasión por las flores es de hace muchos años, me encantan las plantas y las que me regalan flores me hacen muy feliz. Disfrutar de sus colores y aromas es de las cosas que más me gustan de estar en mi jardín.
Then, I painted the cacti a dark green. I find cacti beautiful plants, they are easy to care for and they inspire me strength because even though they need little to survive, they stay strong, green and even bloom.
And my passion for flowers goes back many years, I love plants and those that give me flowers make me very happy. Enjoying their colors and scents is one of the things I like most about being in my garden.
Tomé otro de los cuatro discos a los que le pinté el fondo blanco y me dispuse a pintar el cielo con la esponjita, a pintar de verde el follaje en el cual pintaría coloridas florecitas.
Agregué un sol radiante y unas gaviotas para completar el jardín que pintaba.
I took another of the four discs that I painted the white background and set about painting the sky with the sponge, painting the foliage green, on which I would paint colorful little flowers.
I added a radiant sun and some seagulls to complete the garden I was painting.
Pinté dos jardines de cactus y dos de flores. Me gustó mucho el resultado. Estos los voy a poner en una pared del jardín interno que tengo en la casa para adornarla, junto con unas mariposas y casitas de arcilla.
He visto verdaderas obras de arte pintadas en CDs y admiro a esos artistas que plasman su arte en ellos.
Estas son mis creaciones, y aunque no soy una artista plástica, en ellas dejé un poco de mi sentir, de mis pensamientos, de mi imaginación y creatividad.
I painted two cactus gardens and two flower gardens. I really liked the result. These I am going to put on a wall of the internal garden I have in the house to decorate it, along with some butterflies and clay houses.
I have seen true works of art painted on CDs and I admire those artists who capture their art on them.
These are my creations, and although I am not a plastic artist, in them I left a little of my feelings, my thoughts, my imagination and creativity.
