Hace días que no me sentaba a dibujar y anoche sentí la necesidad de hacerlo, me sentía con toda la energía para tomar papel y colores y dejarme llevar.
Además, estaba feliz porque mi esposo encontró un archivo con música que yo estaba buscando desde hace meses. En ese archivo está el CD de Raphael, 50 años, que para mí es una joya musical. Así que escuchando a Raphael me puse a pintar.
It's been days since I sat down to draw and last night I felt the need to do it, I felt all the energy to take paper and colors and let myself go.
Besides, I was happy because my husband found a file with music that I had been looking for for months. In that file is the CD of Raphael, 50 years old, which for me is a musical jewel. So listening to Raphael I started to paint.

Esta vez no vi vídeos por Youtube, ni quise hacer ninguno de los de la iniciativa de Edo, por ahí tengo pendiente el de la Dama Antañona que quiero hacer. Hace tiempo había dibujado unos cactus, pero no guardé con fotografías el paso a paso del dibujo y por eso no lo había publicado; entonces decidí hacer otro y tomar las fotos para esta publicación.
Empecé a darle forma a unos maceteros llenitos de ellos. Me gustan mucho las cactáceas. He leído que los cactus se asemejan a los seres humanos y que son símbolo de protección y adaptabilidad y que transmiten paz y fuerza interior.
This time I didn't see any videos on Youtube, nor did I want to make any of the ones from the Edo initiative. Some time ago I had drawn some cactus, but I didn't save with photographs the step by step of the drawing and that's why I hadn't published it; then I decided to make another one and take the photos for this publication.
I started to shape some pots full of them. I really like cactuses. I have read that cactuses resemble human beings and that they are a symbol of protection and adaptability and that they transmit peace and inner strength.
He leído también una frase que dice que "en la vida hay que ser como un cactus y adaptarse a las circunstancias", concuerdo con esto porque no significa que nos conformemos y nos dejemos arrastrar por ellas, sino que debemos tomar acciones que nos permitan hacernos fuertes en medio de las adversidades, ser felices y dar lo mejor que tengamos para dar.
En medio de lo que vivimos hoy a nivel mundial y específicamente en nuestro país, es bueno tomar de la sabiduría de la naturaleza y aplicarla a nuestras vidas y así florecer como los cactus a pesar de las espinas.

I have also read a phrase that says that "in life you have to be like a cactus and adapt to circumstances", I agree with this because it does not mean that we should conform and let ourselves be dragged by them, but that we should take actions that allow us to become strong in the midst of adversity, to be happy and to give the best we have to give.
In the midst of what we are living today worldwide and specifically in our country, it is good to take from the wisdom of nature and apply it to our lives and thus flourish like the cactus in spite of the thorns.

Simpáticos tus cactus, algunos se pareen a los de @dulce.crucita que de seguir lloviendo no tendrán donde guarecerse. Tienen que estar los verdes y espinosos consentido bajo techo, a resguardo de la lluvia pero que reciban abundante luz y a todos le ha dado por florecer.

Muy bonita creatividad y esfuerzo, están como para pixelarlos y sacar un logo, también me parece interesante el significado que le dan muchas personas a los captus y a las suculentas. Cómo la paz que pueden transmitir.
