Mucha gente me recomendó ver Soul, la nueva película animada de Disney y producida por Pixar que se estrenó en navidad, esta película aparecía por todas mis redes sociales como la gran recomendación de final de año; por esos días no tuve tiempo de verla, así pues la anoté en mis pendientes para inicio del 2021.
El fin de semana pasado me dispuse a verla por Disney+; mi esposo hizo todo lo concerniente a las conexiones de aparatos y cables para transmitirla a través del televisor y no del celular que es donde tenemos la aplicación. Mientras él hacía todo eso, yo preparé las cotufas y arreglé nuestra sala de cine.
Ya con todo dispuesto comenzó la función.
Many people recommended me to watch Soul, the new animated film by Disney and produced by Pixar that was released at Christmas, this film appeared in all my social networks as the great recommendation for the end of the year; at that time I didn't have time to watch it, so I wrote it down in my earrings for the beginning of 2021.
Last weekend I was ready to watch it on Disney+; my husband did everything concerning the connections of devices and cables to transmit it through the TV and not through the cell phone which is where we have the application. While he was doing all that, I set up the taps and fixed up our movie theater.
With everything in place, the show began.
No voy a contar la película porque no quisiera hacer spoilers, solo voy a reseñar de manera general la trama sin descubrir detalles importantes que es mejor que vean ustedes mismos.
Soul nos cuenta la historia de Joey Gardner, un músico de Jazz que no alcanzó el éxito que aspiraba en su vida, sin embargo, un día lo vio cerca cuando se le presentó la gran oportunidad de demostrar su talento y ser reconocido, pero esta oportunidad no se concretó porque sufrió un accidente en el que murió. Ya en el más allá se empeñó en volver a la vida para conseguir lo que tanto quería. Lo que continúa es mejor que lo vean y disfruten porque, realmente, es un film hermoso y con un mensaje profundo.
I'm not going to tell the movie because I don't want to spoil it, I'm just going to give a general overview of the plot without discovering important details that you should see for yourselves.
Soul tells us the story of Joey Gardner, a jazz musician who did not achieve the success he had hoped for in his life. However, one day he saw him close by when the great opportunity presented itself to demonstrate his talent and be recognized, but this opportunity did not materialize because he suffered an accident in which he died. Already in the afterlife he was determined to return to life to achieve what he wanted so much. What continues is better seen and enjoyed because, really, it is a beautiful film with a deep message.
Esta película nos invita a que apreciemos la vida como el mejor regalo que tenemos en nuestras manos; a reflexionar sobre cómo la hemos vivido y si, viéndola en retrospectiva, la hemos valorado y disfrutado. Nos invita a pensar en que debemos parar la búsqueda de un propósito para nuestra existencia porque el único propósito debe ser vivir, vivir plenamente, disfrutando del camino y del día a día. Nos invita a admirar la belleza que nos rodea y a amar con todos nuestros sentidos; a agradecer, de nuevo el agradecimiento resulta ser la mejor manera de vivir este presente del que somos dueños. Agradecerlo todo, las pequeñas cosas y todos los instantes, a vivir nuestras vidas como el gran acontecimiento del que somos los protagonistas.
¡A vivir, vamos a vivir la vida al máximo!
This film invites us to appreciate life as the best gift we have in our hands; to reflect on how we have lived it and if, looking back, we have valued and enjoyed it. It invites us to think that we must stop searching for a purpose for our existence because the only purpose must be to live, to live fully, enjoying the path and the day to day. It invites us to admire the beauty that surrounds us and to love with all our senses; to be grateful, again gratitude turns out to be the best way to live this present of which we are owners. To be grateful for everything, the small things and all the moments, to live our lives as the great event of which we are the protagonists.
To live, let's live life to the fullest!
