Cutting process of a free gown with collar stand and puffy cone sleeves

Hello hiveians

Today, I'm bringing to you the cutting of a kneel length free gown with collar stand and puffy sleeves.

One can decide to make a usual gown but with a different sleeves or neckline to make it unique.

Cutting process

  • fold the fabric to be used in four in a triangular like shape.

  • mark out the necessary measurements from the shoulder to the full length adding about 1" - 2" to the normal bust and waist circumference and connect to the tip of the full length hem and cut out.

Cutting of the puff sleeves

  • fold the fabric into four in a triangular shape.

  • mark out the desired length of the sleeves adding 5-8 inches for the puff depending on how puffy you want it to look.

  • mark out the arm hole measurements and cut it out.

This is just the cutting process, the sewing process will be posted later in the day.
