Greetings to the entire HIVE community! My continued thanks to you for taking the time to read my brief notes or narratives. Below is a chapter from the Star Traveller: Dania, corresponding to the Encounters and Silhouettes series.
Dania pasó cerca del torbellino estelar S. P. J 24, cuyas siglas significan Stefan Peña Justín el astrónomo cuántico, quien la vio por primera vez en el 2.980; y 24, son los años luz que lo separa de la tierra.
Su rutilante velero como siempre parecía obedecer los mandos de ella como si fuera una bestia domesticada; un animal fuerte, ágil y capaz de resistir tormentas solares como pocas.
La lejanía no mellaba los recuerdos de la orgullosa mujer: Allí estaban sus hijos, el más pequeño tal vez sería varias veces papá; los otros dos- el mayor le llevaba tres años al otro- posiblemente dos abuelos contándoles a sus nietos sobre la abuela Yaya-la madre de Dania- y de otra abuela, la viajera del cosmos; de quién la última vez que supieron estaba cruzando las curvas del universo Einsteniano.
En su profunda abstracción, no pudo escuchar el grito armónico de alerta, emitido repetidamente por el velero, anunciándole que estaban llegando a la nebulosa de Andrómeda, inmenso cúmulo de constelaciones refractarias, la cual, hasta la fecha; se negaban a ser conquistada por cualquier tipo de ser viviente.
Sus famosas lluvias de colores podían observarse desde la tierra a través de los potentísimos telescopios plasmáticos U.V.R 123, de igual manera podían apreciarse las serpenteantes anillos de diamantes púrpuras que rodeaban el lado izquierdo-visto desde la tierra- de la nebulosa. Más sin embargo, nadie había logrado traspasar la espesa cortina-por decirlo de algún modo- que a la manera de escudo protegía los inmensos y fantásticos misterios de Andrómeda.
Dania passed close to the stellar whirlwind S. P. J 24, whose initials stand for Stefan Peña Justín the quantum astronomer, who saw it for the first time in 1980; and 24 are the light years that separate it from the earth.
His shining sailboat as always seemed to obey her commands as if it were a domesticated beast; a strong, agile animal capable of resisting solar storms like few others.
The remoteness did not dull the proud woman's memories: there were her children, the youngest one perhaps several times father; the other two - the oldest was three years older than the other - possibly two grandparents telling their grandchildren about grandmother Yaya - Dania's mother - and of another grandmother, the traveler of the cosmos; of whom the last time they knew she was crossing the curves of the Einsteinian universe.
In her deep abstraction, she could not hear the harmonic cry of alert, emitted repeatedly by the sailboat, announcing that they were arriving to the Andromeda nebula, immense cluster of refractory constellations, which, to date, refused to be conquered by any type of living being.
Its famous showers of colors could be observed from Earth through the very powerful U.V.R 123 plasma telescopes, as well as the meandering rings of purple diamonds that surrounded the left side - seen from Earth - of the nebula. However, no one had managed to break through the thick curtain, so to speak, that shielded the immense and fantastic mysteries of Andromeda.
Descubrimiento de los diamantes | Dania meets the irretrievable limbo
Pero Dania no lo sabía, y tampoco le importaba-la conocemos muy bien- así que agarró con fuerza los cordeles del velero y dio su imponente grito de victoria.
La nave, al comienzo tuvo algunas cabriolas- como si fuera un brioso caballo- que casi lanzan al jinete hacia la espesura asfixiante. se sobrepuso y con inusitada velocidad cruzo el grueso manto de las miríadas de estrellas moradas. Como un solo cuerpo ella y la nave, surcaron una masa informe, pastosa y brillante. A Dania le recordaban los pequeños “cocuyos”o luciérnagas, que alumbraban por las noches; cuando era una niña y su madre le contaba historias debajo de los arbustos, allá, en la casa del Valle Feliz.
De pronto se vio inmersa dentro de una fina y suave lluvia de tintes lila oscuro; era sin duda las tan temidas lluvias de los anillos de diamantes púrpuras; ella y su portentosa nave estaban bañándose dentro de la maravilla que el resto de los mortales; cualquiera fuera su origen, solo podían ver de lejos; desde sus planetas nativos, o cuando una nave interplanetaria se atrevía a pasar cerca de la nebulosa.
But Dania didn't know that, and she didn't care-we know her very well-so she tightened her grip on the sailboat's lines and gave her imposing victory cry.
The ship, at first had a few capers - as if it were a spirited horse - that almost threw the rider into the choking thicket. it overcame and with unusual speed crossed the thick blanket of the myriads of purple stars. Like a single body, she and the ship, they ploughed through a formless, pasty, shimmering mass. Dania was reminded of the little "cocuyos" or fireflies that used to light up at night, when she was a child and her mother told her stories under the bushes, back home in Happy Valley.
Suddenly she was immersed in a fine and soft rain of dark lilac dyes; it was undoubtedly the so feared rains of the purple diamond rings; she and her portentous ship were bathing in the wonder that the rest of the mortals, whatever their origin, could only see from afar; from their native planets, or when an interplanetary ship dared to pass near the nebula.
Lluvia milagrosa | Miracle rain
La garúa caía a sus cabellos y en la vela del barco, fortificando sus sentidos, sus deseos y alimentado los sueños del velero, que eran los de ella misma. Se desnudó, subió a lo más alto del palo mayor; puso el rostro de frente a la lluvia y comenzó a danzar en la punta del mástil.
Al instante todo el cuerpo quedó prendado de sensuales gotas púrpuras; eran como lágrimas del universo, lágrimas que hicieron que Dania y su fiel nave lloraran de pura alegría, era una felicidad venida desde las más recónditas y asombrosas infra-partículas universales.
Durante el baño pudieron ver- hay que explicar que en esta dimensión de lo galáctico, el universo es democrático en demasía; todo lo existente está vivo, por lo que la nave también podía percibir- el transcurrir de sus vidas, de forma que Dania pudo verse en un caleidoscopio temporal, algo donde percibes el presente, junto al pasado; en una sola dimensión.
The drizzle fell on her hair and on the sail of the ship, fortifying her senses, her desires and feeding the dreams of the sailboat, which were her own. She undressed, climbed to the top of the mainmast, turned her face to the rain and began to dance on the top of the mast.
Instantly the whole body was seized by sensual purple drops; they were like tears from the universe, tears that made Dania and her faithful ship weep with pure joy, it was a happiness coming from the most recondite and amazing universal infra-particles.
During the bath they could see - it must be explained that in this dimension of the galactic, the universe is too democratic; everything that exists is alive, so the ship could also perceive - the passing of their lives, so that Dania could see herself in a temporal kaleidoscope, something where you perceive the present, together with the past; in a single dimension.
Transcurrió una inmensidad de tiempo, que Dania y la nave no pudieron percatarse; fue un nanosegundo/tiempo-cuántico- como lo llamaron después sus descubridores- pero suficiente para desplazarse y llegar a la otra orilla o extremo del cúmulo.
Una vez traspasado el cuerpo entero de la nebulosa- con renovadas fuerzas y mucha más velocidad, gracias a los influjos de la lluvia maravillosa- la imperturbable mujer, exhibía su piel trigueña-canela- tersa, limpia y joven.
An immensity of time elapsed, which Dania and the ship could not notice; it was a nanosecond/quantum-time - as her discoverers later called it - but enough to move and reach the other shore or end of the cluster.
Once she crossed the entire body of the nebula - with renewed strength and much more speed, thanks to the influence of the marvelous rain - the imperturbable woman exhibited her tanned skin - cinnamon - smooth, clean and young.
Si la nave hubiese mantenido la capacidad de tener juicio, como cuando estaba bajo la lluvia de Andrómeda; habría tenido que aceptar que aquella mujer, en ese instante, semejaba una diosa.
¡Radiante! ¡Como un misterioso invento del universo! ¡Para llenar de felicidad a cualquier materia que tuviera piel para sentir! ¡Oídos para escuchar! ¡Ojos para ver! ¡Olfato para oler! ¡Y sobre todo ¡Alma para percibir el lamento escondido del corazón de Dania!
If the ship had maintained the ability to have judgment, as when it was under the rain of Andromeda; it would have had to accept that that woman, in that instant, looked like a goddess.
Radiant! Like a mysterious invention of the universe! To fill with happiness any matter that had skin to feel! Ears to hear! Eyes to see! Smell to smell! And above all Soul to perceive the hidden lament of Dania's heart!
