Cada 8 de marzo es reconocido el desempeño de la mujer en la sociedad y también es un día que muchas aprovechan para promover sus derechos civiles. La mujer lleva muchos años pidiendo la igualdad en la sociedad y aunque se han alcanzado algunos logros la verdad es que aún falta mucho trabajo por hacer.
La verdad es que la mujer ha colaborado con esta sociedad sacando adelante al futuro de un país y muy pocos lo ven; ha criado grandes músicos, ingenieros, científicos, presidentes, empresarios, sacerdotes, padres de familia, doctores, maestros.
Every March 8 is recognized the performance of women in society and it is also a day that many take advantage of to promote their civil rights. Women have been asking for equality in society for many years and although some achievements have been made, the truth is that there is still a lot of work to be done.
The truth is that women have collaborated with this society to bring forward the future of a country and very few see it; they have raised great musicians, engineers, scientists, presidents, businessmen, priests, parents, doctors, teachers.
1.- ¿Cómo celebras el día de la mujer? // 1.How do you celebrate Women's Day?
Cada año mis hijos y mi esposo me celebran el día dándome un abrazo y reconociéndome las cosas que hago por ellos, me encanta ver a mi hijo Israel colocando mi foto en su estado y reconocer ante sus amigos lo buena madre que he sido. La verdad es que he luchado mucho por sacarlos adelante en medio de tantas adversidades en mi país, también los he criado dándoles buen ejemplo y con la fe en Dios por delante.
Así que mi mejor manera de celebrarlo es junto a ellos y me gusta cuando me regalan flores y chucherías. Ellos saben que eso me encanta.
Every year my children and my husband celebrate the day by giving me a hug and acknowledging the things I do for them, I love to see my son Israel posting my picture in his status and acknowledging to his friends what a good mother I have been. The truth is that I have struggled a lot to get them ahead in the midst of so many adversities in my country, I have also raised them giving them good example and with faith in God ahead.
So my best way to celebrate is with them and I like it when they give me flowers and sweets. They know I love that.
2.- ¿Cuál es tu libro favorito? Explica // What is your favorite book? Explain.
Mi libro favorito siempre ha sido “Cien años de Soledad” del escritor colombiano Gabriel García Márquez, lo he leído como 3 veces, en una oportunidad me lo robaron y lo volví a comprar. Gabo ha sido mi escritor favorito, me he leído casi todos sus libros y también he incentivado a mis hijos para que conozcan un poco de sus historias.
“Cien años de soledad” es un libro lleno de pasión, aventuras, desventuras. Muchas veces me pongo a pensar porque Gabo fue tan cruel con estos personajes, creo que ningún miembro de la familia Buendia fue feliz nunca o los que lo intentaban terminaban siempre mal. Hasta el último de la generación nació con un rabo de cochino y se lo llevaron las hormigas del patio, eso es verdaderamente terrible y es difícil para el lector visualizar un momento así.
My favorite book has always been "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, I have read it about 3 times, once it was stolen and I bought it again. Gabo has been my favorite writer, I have read almost all his books and I have also encouraged my children to know a little of his stories.
"One Hundred Years of Solitude" is a book full of passion, adventures, misadventures. Many times I think why Gabo was so cruel with these characters, I think that no member of the Buendia family was ever happy or those who tried it always ended badly. Even the last of the generation was born with a pig's tail and was carried away by the ants in the yard, that's really terrible and it's hard for the reader to visualize a moment like that.
3.- ¿Cómo te describirías en 3 adjetivos? // How would you describe yourself in 3 adjectives?
Honesta, feliz, cordial

4.- Si pudieras ser hombre por un día ¿Qué es lo primero que harías? | // If you could be a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
Esta pregunta me ha puesto a pensar por un buen rato, es que de verdad quisiera hacer tantas cosas que no se cual escoger para escribir. Pero me gustaría escoger la que más resalta en mi mente y es dar amor a mi madre, abrazarla, besarla y de igual forma haría con mis hermanas. Muchos hombres se pierden de esta bonita experiencia del Amor y no saben lo bonito que se siente hacerlo. Dar afecto no te quita la hombría ni te hace menos persona, pero si supieras que eso es lo que más queremos las mujeres y si esa mujer es la esposa estoy segura que luego que le brindes afecto te recibirá en la noche con un buen plato de comida hecho con mucho amor y te cuidará y te querrá cada día mucho mejor.
This question has made me think for a long time, I would really like to do so many things that I don't know which one to choose to write. But I would like to choose the one that stands out the most in my mind and that is to give love to my mother, hug her, kiss her and I would do the same with my sisters. Many men miss out on this beautiful experience of Love and don't know how nice it feels to do it. Giving affection does not take away your manhood or make you less of a person, but if you knew that this is what we women want the most and if that woman is your wife I am sure that after you give her affection she will welcome you at night with a good plate of food made with love and she will take care of you and love you much better every day.
5.- Si sólo pudieras tener un hobby. ¿Cuál sería? // If you could only have one hobby, what would it be?
Tejer, en crochet es definitivamente mi pasión y lo haría hasta el día que me muera, es más, que me pongan las agujas en mi urna porque me las voy a llevar al cielo para tejerle una linda cobija a Dios y unos escarpines al niño Jesús.
Knitting, definitely crochet is my passion and I would do it until the day I die, in fact, I would put my needles in my urn because I'm going to take them to heaven to knit a blanket for God and some booties for the baby Jesus.
6.- ¿En qué década te hubiera gustado vivir? //What decade would you have liked to live in?
En la década de los 80´s, creo que esa época revolucionó la historia, sucedieron muchas cosas buenas. La revolución de la música, la moda, la tv, el internet, revolución de la ciencia y la tecnología. Aunque era apenas una niña creo que la gente fue feliz en esa década y hasta el día de hoy el mundo la recuerda y la celebra.
In the 80's, I think that era revolutionized history, many good things happened. The music revolution, fashion, TV, internet, science and technology revolution. Although I was just a child I think people were happy in that decade and to this day the world remembers and celebrates it.
7.- ¿Cuál es la parte de tu cuerpo que más te gusta? // Which part of your body do you like the most?
Me gusta mi cabello, es largo abundante, suave; hasta hace muy poco me lo comencé a pintar para tapar un poco las canas propias de la edad pero siempre me lo cuido y me gusta consentirlo con cremas, mascarillas naturales y mucho más. Adoro mi cabello.
I like my hair, it's long, abundant, soft; until recently I started to color it to cover a little of the gray that comes with age, but I always take care of it and I like to pamper it with creams, natural masks and much more. I love my hair.
8.- ¿Crees que las mujeres pueden hacer trabajo de hombre? // Do you think women can do men's work?
Hoy en día si, ya la mujer no tiene miedo y ha ocupado cargos de gran importancia como ser presidente de la república y lo ha hecho tan bien que les ha sido reconocido luego de mucho tiempo. Tal vez a muchas nos falte fuerza para cargar un bulto de maíz o cargar leña como se hace en el campo, pero si hay muchas otras cosas que en verdad las pueden hacer y hasta mejor que el hombre.
Nowadays yes, women are not afraid and they have occupied very important positions such as being president of the republic and they have done so well that they have been recognized after a long time. Perhaps many of us lack the strength to carry a bundle of corn or to carry firewood as it is done in the field, but there are many other things that they can really do and even better than men.

10.- Si te concedieran 3 deseos, ¿Que pidieras? // If you were granted 3 wishes, what would you ask for?.
El primer deseo seria tener mucha salud, teniendo salud podría hacer todas las cosas que tengo en mente y sería más proactiva y productiva.
El segundo deseo seria ser dueña de una red de Mercerías en todo el país, allí me sentiría como pez en el agua, me gustaría atender a mis clientas con mucho amor porque definitivamente estoy convencida que las mujeres que hacen manualidades, la mujer que teje, borda, cose, es una persona de buenos sentimientos, es sensible, cariñosa y comparte todo lo que sabe para hacer felices a los demás.
Como tercer deseo pediría que este gobierno de Venezuela cambiara y se fueran muy lejos donde más nadie los volviera a ver, no quiero venganza ni reclamos, solo quiero que se vayan y no regresen más nunca.
The first wish would be to have a lot of health, having health I could do all the things I have in mind and I would be more proactive and productive.
The second wish would be to own a network of haberdasheries throughout the country, there I would feel like a fish in water, I would like to serve my customers with love because I am definitely convinced that women who make crafts, the woman who knits, embroiders, sews, is a person of good feelings, is sensitive, loving and shares everything she knows to make others happy.
As a third wish I would ask that this government of Venezuela change and that they go far away where no one will see them again, I don't want revenge or claims, I just want them to go away and never come back.
11.- Tu mejor recuerdo y tu mayor miedo // Your best memory and your greatest fear.

Mi mejor recuerdo es en la infancia, aunque era muy niña tengo esa imagen grabada en mi mente y en mi corazón. Recuerdo que una mañana viendo hacia el campo desde una colina mi papá y yo estábamos sentados en una banca debajo de un árbol y mientras veíamos a mis hermanos sembrar la tierra mi padre me abrazo y me echó broma como siempre; nunca olvido su sonrisa de picardía cada vez que me decía que yo era su chilindrina.
Mi mayor temas es la muerte de mis seres queridos, quisiera que eso nunca pasara, jamás, pero lamentablemente eso es ley de vida y solo espero que sean los más jóvenes los que entierren a los más viejos.
My best memory is in my childhood, although I was very young I have that image engraved in my mind and in my heart. I remember one morning looking down a hill towards the field my father and I were sitting on a bench under a tree and while we were watching my brothers planting the land my father hugged me and teased me as always; I never forget his mischievous smile every time he told me that I was his chilindrina.
My biggest fear is the death of my loved ones, I wish that would never happen, ever, but unfortunately that is the law of life and I only hope that the younger ones will be the ones to bury the older ones.
