Alternative rock had a golden age and that era was the 90's. Among so many bands, one of the most successful was "The Cranberries", being one of the most sold records in the United States, and their concerts filled any stadium. This Irish band was created in Limerick in 1989 under the name "The Cranberry Saw Us", until the arrival of Dolores O'Riordan, who proposed changing the name to cranberries, bringing ideas to the band that led to success in a short time. The trajectory of this band

is marked by great successes and one of them is "Zombie" which, as a single, was on the best music charts of world radio stations. For years this band managed to position several of their albums, of which So Why Can't We ?, No Need to Argue, To the Faithful Departed and Bury the Hatchet stand out. The year 1995 was very prosperous for the band; They made their acoustic concert for MTV so successful that at the MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony, "Zombie" received the award for Best Song of the Year and Best Rock Song.

El rock alternativo tuvo una época dorada y esa época fueron los 90´s. entre tantas bandas una de las más exitosas fue “The Cranberries” siendo una de las que más vendió discos en los Estados Unidos, además sus conciertos llenaban cualquier estadio. Esta banda irlandesa fue creada en Limerick en 1989 bajo el nombre "The Cranberry Saw Us", hasta la llegada de Dolores O'Riordan, quien propuso cambiar el nombre a cranberries, aportando ideas a la banda que la llevaron al éxito en poco tiempo. La trayectoria de esta banda está marcada por grandes éxitos y uno de ellos es “Zombie” que como sencillo, estuvo en las mejores listas de música de las emisoras mundiales. Por años esta banda logró posicionar varios de sus álbumes de los que destacan So Why Can't We?, No Need to Argue, To the Faithful Departed y Bury the Hatchet. El año 1995 fue muy próspero para la banda; hicieron su concierto acústico para MTV teniendo tanto éxito, que en la ceremonia de los MTV Europe Music Awards, «Zombie» recibió el premio como mejor canción del año y mejor canción de rock.
