I bring you another review, because I am participating in the league created by our friend @wiseagent. More details on how to participate can be found here. This is the third week of the contest and we are already in its third edition.
Well, for this week, the rule is basically "LOL (Laughing Out Loud)" where we should talk about some movie that made us breathless from laughing. Of course, this type of genre has several, but for my choice it is the "Police Academy" (1984). I hope you all like it and enjoy the review.
It's my friends, I looked for a very old movie and at the time I watched it long after they released it. With the direction of Hugh Wilson, the first film in the franchise features some stars like Steve Guttenberg and G.W. Bailey. You can't name the others because there are several.
With a high crime rate in the city, the city government decides to change the law and practically "frees" young people to join the police academy. Now imagine, sex, height, weight and education (intelligence) would no longer be a problem. Imagine how much shitty confusion this would cause.
Led by Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg) he was practically the "brain" of the group and however clumsy he was he always had good intentions. Especially because he had no other option and if he gave up being a policeman, he would be arrested for the blunders of the past.
In the group of new cadets, he has everything, the rascal, the guy who looked like he's always ready for war, the woman who speaks softly, who doesn't understand anything and a guy who's a separate chapter ... Larvell Jones (Michael Winslow) is the imitation guy and the sound he produces in his mouth is very funny and incredible.
I still remember the scene where Jones meets Mahoney and imagine where? Yes at the police station since each one had done trickery as usual and when they present themselves, Jones makes some sounds as if there was a shooting inside the police station lol
As the first film dealt exclusively with the training of new policemen, should someone command them right? Lieutenant Harris (G.W. Bailey) was left with the difficult mission and his job was actually to make the cadets give up. And as we already know, he failed miserably.
One of the scenes I remember is when they put grease on the speaker and after some instructions with the cadets and he went to speak with Commander Lassard (George Gaynes). The guys didn't miss an opportunity to do some trickery.
Even the gangs were funny, one in particular was the gang led by Zed and the way the guy talked and shouted at the same time was really funny.
One of those that amused me a lot was Tackleberry, the guy was practically Rambo. The way he solved things was on the basis of the shot and I confess that everywhere in the world there must be a Tackleberry of life because the crazy things that have to be done must be by a guy like that.
Well, it's an 80's movie so for the simplicity in which the first 7 in total was produced it managed to make me laugh too much. Scenes that still resist with time and despite being a very old film I believe that it should still make a lot of people laugh.

É meus amigos, busquei um filme bem antigo e que na época assisti muito tempo depois que lançaram. Com a direção de Hugh Wilson, o primeiro filme da franquia conta com algumas estrelas como Steve Guttenberg e G.W. Bailey.Não dá pra citar os outros porque são vários.
Com uma elevada taxa de crimes na cidade, a prefeitura da cidade decide mudar a lei e praticamente "libera" que jovens possam ingressar na academia de polícia. Agora imaginem, sexo, altura, peso e grau de instrução (inteligência) não seria mais empecilho. Imaginem a merda grande confusão que isso iria causar.
Liderados por Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg) ele praticamente era o "cérebro" do grupo e por mais atrapalhada que se encontrava ele tinha sempre boas intenções. Até porque ele não tinha outra opção e se desistisse de ser policial, seria preso pelas mancadas do passado.
No grupo de novos cadetes tem de tudo, o malandro, o cara que parecia está sempre pronto para guerra, a mulher que fala baixinho, o que não entende nada e um cara que é um capítulo a parte....Larvell Jones (Michael Winslow) é o cara das imitações e o som que produz na boca é além de muito engraçado é incrível.
Lembro até hoje da cena em que Jones conhece Mahoney e imaginem onde? Sim na delegacia já que cada um tinha feito malandragens como de costume e quando eles se apresentam, Jones faz uns sons como se estivesse um tiroteio dentro da delegacia lol
Como o primeiro filme tratava exclusivamente da formação dos novos policiais alguém deveria comandá-los certo? Ficou para o tenente Harris (G.W. Bailey) a difícil missão e a sua função na verdade era jsutamente fazer os cadetes desistirem. E como já sabemos nisso ele falhou miseravelmente.
Uma das cenas que me lembro é quando colocaram graxa no alto-falante e depois de umas intruções com os cadetes e le foi falar com o comandante Lassard (George Gaynes). Os caras não perdiam um oportunidade para fazer alguma malandragem.
Até as guangues eram engraçados, uma em particular era a gangue comandada por Zed e a forma como o cara falava e gritava ao mesmo tempo era muito engraçado.
Um dos que me divertiam muito era o Tackleberry, o cara era praticamente o Rambo. A forma com que ele resolvia as coisas era na base do tiro e confesso que em todo lugar do mundo deve existir um Tackleberry da vida porque as loucuras que são feitas tem que ser por um cara desses.
Bem, é um filme dos anos 80 então pela simplicidade em que foi produzido o primeiro longa de 7 no total conseguiu me fazer rir demais. Cenas que até hoje resistem com o tempo e apesasr de ser um filme bem antigo acredito que ainda deve fazer muita gente rir.
