@canelarecetas nos invita a redactar un post sobre los cinco lugares que nos gustaría conocer antes de morir, no veo que sea dástrico usar la expresión, amiga. Porque mientras hay vida hay esperanza. No sabemos que hay mas allá de la muerte. Estas iniciativas nos permiten detenernos en nuestras labores y recostarnos un rato, cerrar los ojos y recordar cuáles han sido nuestros sueños mas anhelados; viajar es uno que tenemos todos.

These initiatives allow us to stop in our work and lie down for a while, close our eyes and remember what our most desired dreams have been; traveling is one that we all have.
1️⃣ Empezaré por mi tierra patria ¡El llano venezolano!
Desde más joven me he interesado por conocer los estados llaneros de Venezuela. Aunque dicen que Monagas también es llano, sigo sintiendo el deseo de estar, amanecer y ver el atardecer en Apure, Guárico o Portuguesa. Escuchar el canto de los gallos, el pastoreo del ganado y percibir bien temprano el olor a café recién colao desde el placentero reposo en un chinchorro.
1️⃣ I will start from my homeland The Venezuelan plain!
From a young age I have been interested in knowing the plains states of Venezuela. Although they say that Monagas is also flat, I still feel the desire to be, sunrise and see the sunset in Apure, Guarico or Portuguesa. Listen to the crowing of the roosters, the grazing of the cattle and perceive the smell of fresh coffee very early from the pleasant rest in a hammock.
2️⃣ Estados andinos.
Me encantaría estar unos cuantos días recorriendo Mérida, Táchira y Trujillo. Tengo bastantes conocidos que vienen de allá, nacieron y se criaron en estos estados, las anécdotas y descripción de sus paisajes me atraen bastante. Además, serian los lugares ideales para exhibir muchas de mis creaciones tejidas como ruanas y gorros, ya que son estados en los que hace mucho frio.
2️⃣ Andean States.
I would love to spend a few days touring Mérida, Tachira and Trujillo. I have quite a few acquaintances who come from there, were born and raised in these states, the anecdotes and description of their landscapes attract me a lot. In addition, they would be the ideal places to exhibit many of my knitted creations such as ruanas and hats, since they are states in which it is very cold.
3️⃣ México.
Saliendo de nuestras fronteras, el primer país que deseo conocer es México, inevitable para mí hacerlo. Desde muy pequeña me he visto influenciada por esta cultura, sus tradiciones y costumbres a través de sus canciones y de las novelas que aun vemos por la televisión. No es un secreto para nadie que en toda Venezuela se escuchan las canciones rancheras, de mariachis; admiramos a muchos de los artistas y deseamos ver de cerca, en vivo y directo todos los paisajes, degustar de las riquísimas comidas que por allá preparan y compartir entre hermanos hispanos.
3️⃣ Mexico.
Leaving our borders, the first country I want to know is Mexico, inevitable for me to do so. From a very young age I have been influenced by this culture, its traditions and customs through its songs and the novels that we still see on television. It is not a secret for anyone that in all Venezuela rancheras songs, mariachis songs are heard; We admire many of the artists and we want to see all the landscapes up close, live and direct, taste the delicious meals that they prepare there and share with Hispanic brothers.
4️⃣ Nueva York.
Estaría encantada de visitar este lugar. Me atrae conocer la vida nocturna de Nueva York, ¿será tal cual la cuentan en las películas? Será que podría entrar a todos los casinos, discotecas y más lugares lleno de luces y ruido? No soy una persona aficionada a este tipo de ambientes, pero deseo estar allí y poder sentir la emoción de un juego de azar, de una deliciosa bebida neoyorkina y ver el ritmo y movimiento que según dicen se vive allí.
4️⃣ New York.
I would be delighted to visit this place. It attracts me to know the nightlife of New York, will it be as they tell it in the movies? Could it be that it could enter all the casinos, discos and more places full of lights and noise? I am not a person who is fond of this type of environment, but I want to be there and be able to feel the emotion of a game of chance, of a delicious New York drink and see the rhythm and movement that they say lives there.
5️⃣ Japón.
Imagínense estar en este lugar. Hemos también sido muy influenciados por la cultura japonesa, aunque todos nos parezcan chinos, la mayoría de nuestros intereses recaen sobre la cultura de Japón. Nos confundimos un poco, pero es así. Es posible que por allá me tropiece con la versión gigante de algún animé popular de la historia. Ummmm y probar de los deliciosos platillos japoneses, ya se me hace aguas la boca.
5️⃣ Japan.
Imagine being in this place. We have also been very influenced by Japanese culture, although we all seem Chinese, most of our interests fall on the culture of Japan. We get a bit confused, but that's the way it is. It is possible that over there I stumble upon the giant version of some popular anime in history. Ummmm and trying the delicious Japanese dishes, my mouth is already watering.
