Quite serious when the patients who are positive don't even say goodbye and disappear as quickly as they arrive lol. No one trusts their governments help.
I was reading a few articles today about the quarantine centers dotted around Africa and one just has to shake their head and smile. Living in Africa for as long as I have you you can understand that there is no normal. Everything is abnormal which is normal for here as 1 + 1 = anything but 2.
Can you imagine the one Quarantine camp had over 400 escape with at least 46 positive cases on the run lol. The issue being is that these camps/centers don't give you proper treatment. Many are supported by World Health Organisation charities yet you have to pay for everything including water.
South Africa like Botswana is returning foreign nationals to their countries as their own hands are full. Many of the migrant workers are starving as they are not supported by the local Government schemes. The reality is they don't exist on any records and no one cares. These people have to fend for themselves and are better off going home at least.

Africa has changed in many ways over the last 10 weeks as it is noticeable how the local population wants the migrant workers to pack up and leave. I don't blame them and have said for years that the migrant work force needs to be controlled and only limited numbers permitted. Jobs don't grow on trees and if a job is available surely your local population should be offered it first if they qualify.

Bad bunch. Detainees who were sent back from the prisons to Zimbabwe were caught for theft whilst under quarantine period. Serial criminals who think they are too smart. No hope and unfortunately many are just like that
Personally I never had any problems with foreign nationals from neighboring countries until I experienced it first hand. We had serious amounts of stock disappear and our neighboring warehouse where Walmart was based had similar problems. I think it was the most theft they had experienced in 10 years and all down to a well organised Zimbabwean syndicate that had infiltrated their staffing process.
At home I had employed two Zimbabweans from the office to do extra work to help them pay for their families back home. It turned out they took everything in site slowly over a period of 6 months. Things that had been put away were left with an empty box where they once were. My Tresor luckily hadn't been used yet,but that vanished even though they had no idea what it was and is worthless as I had already locked it with my password.
Many companies I know have installed a policy of South Africa first these days and that includes the hiring of staff. The migrants have bought this on themselves and it will only get worse for them. When you overstay and abuse your welcome what do you expect? People in most cases have just had enough as the good will has expired for them.
Wow, that is pretty crazy. I can understand why people wouldn't want to be isolated and all of that, but when you are putting the lives of others at risk, you should use your head a little more.
