I am beyond thankful to receive anything from anybody on my birthday. To me, spending time with me or even just saying hello to me on my birthday is enough for me. I won’t hold a grudge if you forget either.
There are a few people in my life who not only remember the day that I was born, but also go the extra mile to make me feel loved. This year my mother & father, brother & his girlfriend, and my girlfriend & her parents all surprised me with a little something.
I first want to thank all of you all for remembering me and taking the time to do something special for me. It truly means a lot and I will never forget these types of things. I’m lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.
@flowerbaby knows me so well and got me things that she knew I’d not only enjoy, but also find very useful. I received a cherry blossom outfit, a Ghost of Tsushima t-shirt, two new pairs of underwear, dragon’s blood soap, nag champa deodorant, three new black masks, a colorful coffee cup to take to work, and a beautiful dolphin drawing that @flowerbaby colored herself. I love every single item so much. Thanks @flowerbaby!
My brother Chez got me the best birthday card I have ever received and some cinnamon buns. He even let @flowerbaby and I stay with him and his girlfriend Kristian for the weekend. Speaking of Kristian, she got me a pizza for my birthday! It warms my heart to know that my brother and his lady were able to take time out of his busy life to spend time with me. Thanks McChesney and Kristian!
My mom and dad surprised me with cupcakes, but not just any cupcakes. As you can see, these were very special and tasted just as good as they looked. They were also kind enough to give me another surprise that they know I am forever grateful for. I am happy I was born to such caring parents back in 1992. Thanks mom and dad!
The most unexpected gift of all was a birthday card from @flowerbaby’s mom and step-dad. @flowerbaby’s mom is just as sweet as her and I see where my girl gets her thoughtfulness. I have only met her parents a few times, but they are always so kind to me and I feel honored to have received a token of kindness from them. Thanks Michele and Robbie!
