Crear contenidos en un espacio como Hive se convierte en una tarea diaria en la cual te sumerges y para poder nadar como pecesito en aguas quietas hay mucho que aprender. Tengo algo más de tres semanas en la plataforma y aún cuando vengo de una experiencia previa, que abandoné hace más de año y medio, la verdad es que me ha costado seguir el ritmo, sin embargo, paso a paso voy avanzando y ya casi me muevo al ritmo del nado sincronizado.
En ese paseo diario por las comunidades vi la iniciativa de @josebenavente la cual me pareció muy animada y estimulante para compartir nuestras maneras de hacer. Hoy te comento como creo y le doy forma a mis post.
Creating content in a space like Hive becomes a daily task in which you immerse yourself and to be able to swim like a little fish in still waters there is a lot to learn. I've been on the platform for a little over three weeks now and even though I've had a previous experience, which I abandoned over a year and a half ago, the truth is that I've found it hard to keep up, however, step by step I'm making progress and I'm almost moving at the pace of synchronised swimming.
In this daily walk through the communities I saw @josebenavente's initiative, which I found very encouraging and stimulating to share our ways of doing things. Today I'll tell you how I create and shape my posts.
1.- ¿De dónde surge la inspiración para tu contenido?
En estos 25 días de publicaciones de contenidos no puedo decir que he requerido de gran inspiración para crear mis contenidos. Me explico, como me estoy iniciando he tomado la vía de participar en los retos e iniciativas, eso me ha permitido reconectarme con el hacer, conocer algunas comunidades y saludar viejos amigos. Por otro lado, escribir desde la experiencia personal me resulta fácil y me entusiasma echar mis cuentos.
Cuando escribo fuera de los retos o iniciativas la inspiración viene de algún libro que este leyendo, de una película, de una conversación o algo que mis sentidos captaron y me llamó la atención.
1.- Where does the inspiration for your content come from?
In these 25 days of publishing content, I can't say that I've needed a lot of inspiration to create my content. Let me explain, as I'm just starting out, I've taken the path of participating in challenges and initiatives, which has allowed me to reconnect with what I'm doing, meet some communities and greet old friends. On the other hand, writing from personal experience comes easy to me and I'm excited to pour my stories out.
When I write outside of challenges or initiatives the inspiration comes from a book I'm reading, a film, a conversation or something that my senses picked up on and caught my attention.
2.- ¿Qué rutina cumples a la hora de crear un post?
Por lo general antes de acostarme tengo claro sobre qué voy a escribir al día siguiente, si es posible, grabo en el teléfono las ideas que se me van ocurriendo y el enfoque que quiero darle. Al levantarme y tomar cafecito me voy directo a la computadora, busco lo grabado la noche anterior, en el google drive, lo copio en un documento word documentos y comienzo a trabajar sobre ese primer borrador.
Al tenerlo listo hago la portada para ello uso PowerPoint, donde por los momentos, tengo dos maquetas preparadas, una para el reto y otra para las iniciativas. Cambio títulos, color, letras y a veces la foto. Luego busco las fotos que voy a subir, si son personales, me voy a revisar fotos hasta dar con las que quiero.
Si el tema amerita otro tipo de imágenes busco en Pixabay, descargo la elegida, copio la dirección y todo lo voy metiendo en la carpeta de ese tema. Por lo general, hay que cambiarle el tamaño a la foto, eso lo hago en el Photoshop.
Cuando tengo lista las imágenes vuelvo al work, copio el texto y lo llevo al traductor, regreso al word y empalmo el post con la traducción y de allí a PeaKd para maquetar.
2.- What routine do you follow when creating a post?
Usually before going to bed I have a clear idea of what I'm going to write about the next day, if possible, I record on my phone the ideas that come to mind and the focus I want to give it. When I get up and have a cup of coffee, I go straight to the computer, look up what I recorded the night before on google drive, copy it into a word document and start working on that first draft.
When I have it ready, I make the cover for it I use PowerPoint, where for the moment, I have two drafts ready, one for the challenge and another one for the initiatives. I change titles, colour, letters and sometimes the photo. Then I look for the photos I am going to upload, if they are personal, I go through photos until I find the ones I want.
If the theme requires a different type of image, I look for it on Pixabay, download the chosen one, copy the address and put it all in the folder for that theme. I usually have to resize the photo, I do that in Photoshop.
When I have the images ready I go back to work, copy the text and take it to the translator, go back to word and splice the post with the translation and from there to PeaKd for layout.
3.- ¿Qué es lo que más disfrutas al crear un contenido?
Lo que más disfruto es darle forma a las ideas. Encuentro que hay muchas maneras de abordar un tema, las ideas bailan en tu mente, entonces cuando me pongo a escribir y comienzo darle forma al texto es como que ya abrí el camino y por allí me voy, ese proceso siempre me asombra, me parece maravilloso y me da gran satisfacción.
3.- What do you enjoy most when creating content?
What I enjoy most is shaping ideas. I find that there are many ways of approaching a subject, ideas dance in your mind, so when I start writing and I begin to shape the text it's like I've already opened the way and that's where I'm going, that process always amazes me, I find it wonderful and it gives me great satisfaction.
4.- ¿Qué herramientas usas para maquetar y darle forma a tus publicaciones?
Utilizo los comandos Markdawn. Mi esposo @irvinc me dio la “chuleta”, y la verdad es que es un paseo. Claro, a veces quisiera agregar detalles que he visto en unas publicaciones que hacen muy llamativa, dinámicas y que son una belleza, pero eso sí creo que son aguas profundas y requieren tiempo y dedicación, que por los momentos, no tengo.
4.- What tools do you use to layout and shape your publications?
I use Markdawn commands. My husband @irvinc gave me the "chuleta", and the truth is that it's a walk in the park. Of course, sometimes I'd like to add details that I've seen in some publications that make them very eye-catching, dynamic and beautiful, but I think that's deep water and requires time and dedication, which I don't have at the moment.
5.- ¿Cómo te organizas y divides tu tiempo para crear contenido?
Tengo una hora de preferencia, en la mañana bien temprano, este lo estoy haciendo ahorita 5:30 p.m. porque no tuve internet hasta las 4 p.m. Como te digo, al ser los temas tan personales no tengo que investigar, ni dedicarle mucho a pensar ¿Qué voy a escribir?, porque es mi vida, mi hacer diario y me la conozco perfectamente, así que por los momentos en una sentada sale el post.
5.- How do you organise and divide your time to create content?
I have a preferred time, very early in the morning, this one I'm doing right now at 5:30 p.m. because I didn't have internet until 4 p.m. As I said, as the topics are so personal I don't have to do much research or think about what I'm going to write, because it's my life, my daily routine and I know it perfectly well, so at the moment the post comes out in one sitting.
6.- ¿Cómo te sientes luego de crear un post?
Muy bien, siempre es un logro cuando terminas de escribirlo, maquetarlo y subirlo, cuando lo veo en la página publicado siento ese grado de satisfacción y orgullo del trabajo terminado.
6.- How do you feel after creating a post?
Very well, it's always an achievement when you finish writing it, layout it and upload it, when I see it published on the website I feel that degree of satisfaction and pride in the finished work.
7.- ¿Qué consejo le darías a un Hiver que inicia en la colmena?
Para el que se inicia mi consejo es que se meta en los retos, comente y participe en las actividades del Discord. En cuanto al contenido que lo haga con cariño y disfruten de este hacer.

For those who are just starting out, my advice is to get involved in the challenges, comment and participate in the Discord activities. As for content, do it with love and enjoy doing it.
