It is about what the experience is like on a normal cocoa harvest day.

Hoy les compartiré sobre un tema que tenia muchas ansias por hacer y que he venido preparando con mucha paciencia de manera de poder transmitir todo lo que deseo con él. Se trata de como es la experiencia que se vive en un día normal de cosecha de cacao.
First, to put us in context a bit, it is important that you know that in the haciendita, which I attend, there are varieties of Creole and Trinitarian cacao, which are recognized worldwide for their excellent taste and quality. Apart from this, there are other associated trees, some fruit trees; such as mango, pineapple, lechoza, carambola, banana and guava; other timber such as cedar and oak; and others destined for permanent shade such as bucare.
Primero, para ponernos un poco en contexto, es importante que sepan que en la haciendita, que atiendo, existen variedades del cacao criollo y del trinitario, los cuales son reconocidas a nivel mundial por su excelente sabor y calidad. Aparte de esto, existen otros arboles asociados, algunos frutales; como el mango, la piña, la lechoza, la carambola, el cambur y la guayaba; otros maderables como el cedro y el roble; y otros destinados a la sombra permanente como el bucare.
Due to its excellent ecosystem, it is a vital space for the subsistence of many animal species, where varieties of birds, reptiles and wasps coexist. So it is very common to meet them and enjoy their magnificent qualities.

The cacao grave process has not varied much, it is the same one used for a long time by our ancestors.
Every day I collect the low maracas.
El proceso de tumba de cacao no a variado mucho, es el mismo utilizado desde hace mucho tiempo por nuestros antepasado.
Todos los días recolecto las maracas bajas.
And once a week I harvest the tall maracas, with the help of a stick with an orqueta, a machete, a tobo and a sack.
Y una vez a la semana cosecho las maracas altas, con ayuda de una vara con orqueta, un machete, un tobo y un saco.
The first thing I do is knock down all the maracas.

Then I load them into sacks and stack them in one place.

Then I cut them very carefully so as not to damage the grains.
