Digital ink drawing of the word: GHOST!👻

For those who do not know, "inktober" is a challenge for illustrators that began on instagram many years ago, in which a daily illustration was made with the ink format throughout the month of October.

For this occasion (these drawings belong to the Inktober of 2020) I decided to be guided by the word Ghost.

This is the base that I created to use in all my illustrations on this challenge.	So I decided to do the great horror writer Edgar Allan Poe.

There is no ghost as such, but I was putting elements that gave that feeling in some way or another.

I portrayed Poe as a ghost that comes from beyond to scare you by telling you all his horror stories. Also I added some mysterious eyes in the background, possibly all the spirits he wrote.

This small collection of 5 drawings about this challenge helped me a lot to get to know the world of ink. How to generate lights, shadows and textures was a different world.

I am definitely very excited to participate in this coming October, creating a list with my own words to encourage me even more. Most likely it will be a series of 6 illustrations, but I want to work on the drawing a little more than I did in this series.

Dibujo de tinta digital de la palabra: ¡FANTASMA!👻

Para los que no saben, "inktober" es un reto de ilustradores que comenzó en instagram hace muchos años, en el cual se hacía una ilustración diaria con el formato de tinta durante todo el mes Octubre.

Para esta ocasión (estos dibujos pertenecen al Inktober del 2020) decidí guiarme por la palabra Fantasma.

Esta es la base que creé para utilizarla en todas mis ilustraciones sobre este reto.	Así que decidí hacer al gran escritor de Terror Edgar Allan Poe.

No hay un fantasma como tal, pero fui poniendo elementos que daban esa sensación de algún modo u otro.

Plasmé a Poe como un fantasma que viene del más allá para asustarte contándote todas sus historias de terror. Además agregué algunos ojos misteriosos en el fondo, posiblemente todos los espíritus que él escribió.

Este pequeña colección de 5 dibujos sobre este reto me ayudó muchísimo para conocer el mundo de la tinta. El cómo generar luces, sombras y texturas fue otro mundo distinto.

Definitivamente voy muy animado a participar en este próximo mes de octubre, creando una lista con palabras propias para animarme aún más. Lo más seguro es que sea una serie de 6 ilustraciones, pero quiero trabajar el dibujo un poco más de lo que hice en esta serie.
