A cordial greeting dear community, Happy Monday have everyone, today I join the contest started by the friend @zapataalex where she invites us to create ideas with magazines, which are many things, you just have to let your imagination fly, I made a beautiful chest with this material (magazines)
Materiales
• Hojas de revistas
• Palito de altura
• Pegamento
• Sílicon liquido
• Tijeras
• 2 circulos de cartón
Materials
• Magazine sheets
• Height stick
• Glue
• Liquid silicone
• Pair of scissors
• 2 cardboard circles
Proceso
Dividimos las hojas de revistas en 3 partes y recortamos, luego enrollamos en el palito de altura de manera diagonal la tiras recortadas, pegamos la punta y sacamos el palito, obtendremos un fino tubo de papel de revista. ( Haremos los necesarios)
Tomamos 6 tubitos anteriormente hechos y los enrollamos en un objeto de forma circular como se observa en la imágen.
Se forran los dos círculos de cartón con hojas de revistas.
Process
- We divide the sheets of magazines into 3 parts and cut, then roll the cut strips diagonally on the height stick, glue the tip and remove the stick, we will obtain a thin tube of magazine paper. (We will do the necessary)
- We take 6 tubes previously made and roll them into a circular object as shown in the image.
- The two cardboard circles are lined with magazine sheets.
En un pedazo de cartón de forma horizontal, medimos el ancho del cartón y recortamos los tubos a la medida, luego pegamos los tubos y recortamos las partes que sobre salen.
Continuamos pegando la pieza antes hecha alrededor de uno de los circulos, recortamos un círculo con papel de revista y pegamos en la parte inferior.
Luego forramos la parte superior del cofre con los tubos de papel.
- The two cardboard circles are lined with magazine sheets.
- On a piece of cardboard horizontally, we measure the width of the cardboard and cut the tubes to size, then glue the tubes and cut the parts that are left over.
- We continue gluing the previously made piece around one of the circles, cut out a circle with magazine paper and glue at the bottom.
Seguimos con la tapa superior, medidos la circunferencia, recortamos los tubos pegamos, volvemos a recortar las partes que sobre salen y forramos alrededor varias veces con los tubos de papel.
Con los circulos pequeños antes hechos, decoramos la tapa formando pétalos y posteriormente pegamos sobre ella.
- We continue with the upper cover, measured the circumference, cut the tubes, glue, cut the parts that are left out again and wrap around several times with the paper tubes.
- With the small circles made before, we decorate the lid forming petals and then glue on it.
El resultado final un hermoso cofre elaborado con hojas de revista , para darle la utilidad que mejor prefieras.
The end result is a beautiful chest made with magazine sheets, to give it the utility you prefer.

Hi @dayanaromer, You have made really awesome DIY product using magazine papers. Many people who are living around the world remove old magazines withour any recycling. But you made very creative design from it. Absoultely great work.
