Hoy quiero hablarles de mis libros favoritos pues como creo que ya saben, amo la lectura, de hecho me gradué como educadora mención Castellano y Literatura y no puedo dejar de leer y escribir, es una rutina que me apasiona mucho así que aquí les dejo los libros que me han marcado en mi vida:
Today I want to tell you about my favorite books because as I think you already know, I love reading, in fact I graduated as an educator with a mention in Spanish and Literature and I cannot stop reading and writing, it is a routine that I am very passionate about so here are the books that have marked me in my life:
1.-Los Viajes de Gulliver de Jonathan Swift:
Este libro marcó mi vida porque fue el primer libro que leí por gusto, resulta que en uno de mis cumpleaños (7 años) en la fiesta que mi madre me había preparado habían muchos niños corriendo de aquí para allá, alguien dejó tirado en el suelo este librito que era de bolsillo, pequeñito y me llamó la atención y pasé mi día de fiesta leyendo, me atrapó tanto que solo salí de mi concentración cuando mi madre me llamó a cantar cumpleaños. Es un libro que trata sobre un viaje a diferentes tierras (en sentido figurado) y suceden cosas interesantes que tienen que ver con los valores y principios de todo ser humano. Se los recomiendo.
1.-Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift:
This book marked my life because it was the first book I read for pleasure, it turns out that on one of my birthdays (7 years) at the party that my mother had prepared for me, there were many children running from here to there, someone left lying on the ground This little pocket-sized little book caught my attention and I spent my holiday reading, it caught me so much that I only came out of my concentration when my mother called me to sing birthdays. It is a book that deals with a trip to different lands (figuratively speaking) and interesting things happen that have to do with the values and principles of every human being. I recommend it.
2.-El Corsario Negro de Emilio Sagari:
Este segundo libro fue un regalo de mi padre. Un día se apareció con tres libros para cada una de mis hermanas, a mi hermana menor le regaló Mujercitas, a mi hermana mediana le regaló Moby Dick y a mi este, sin embargo terminé leyendo todos los tres libros porque fueron interesantes, mientras que para mis hermanas no jejejeje. Es un libro de aventuras en la que aparentemente el malo resulta ser bueno. Es muy entretenida la lectura.
2.-The Black Corsair of Emilio Sagari:
This second book was a gift from my father. One day he appeared with three books for each of my sisters, he gave my younger sister Little Women, he gave my middle sister Moby Dick and me this, however I ended up reading all three books because they were interesting, while for my sisters not hehehehe. It is an adventure book in which apparently the bad guy turns out to be good. Reading is very entertaining.
3.-Casas Muertas de Miguel Otero Silva:
Este libro me lo mandaron a leer en la escuela, es de un escritor venezolano y me impactó porque trata de un amor juvenil y como termina de forma triste ese amor, eso me marcó porque lloré por ese desenlace, ahí entendí que adoraba leer y que las lecturas románticas eran divinas.
3.-Dead Houses of Miguel Otero Silva:
This book they sent me to read at school, it is from a Venezuelan writer and it struck me because it is about a youthful love and as that love ends sadly, that marked me because I cried for that outcome, there I understood that I loved reading and that the romantic readings were divine.
4.-La Divina Comedia de Dante Alighieri:
Este libro lo leí porque me llamó la atención su título, y hoy puedo decir que es mi favorito, amo este libro al punto que decidí aprender italiano para tener el placer de leerlo en su idioma y estoy en eso. Es un viaje espiritual de un personaje por diferentes estadios aparentes de la vida: el Limbo, el infierno y el paraíso. Es realmente increíble, se los recomiendo.
4.-The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri:
I read this book because its title caught my attention, and today I can say that it is my favorite, I love this book to the point that I decided to learn Italian to have the pleasure of reading it in your language and I am working on it. It is a spiritual journey of a character through different apparent stages of life: Limbo, hell and paradise. It is really incredible, I recommend it.
5.-El Señor de los Anillos de J. R. R. Tolkien:
Este libro lo leí por mi círculo de amigos que adoraban a Tolkien y toda su literatura, decidí entonces adentrarme en este mundo de la fantasía y ahí quedé, es mi lectura favorita adoro este tipo de lectura así como Harry Potter, Narnia,... me fascinan porque simplemente el bien siempre triunfa y prefiero un mundo así en el que los buenos somos más y podemos contra la maldad existente en el mundo.
5.-The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien:
I read this book by my circle of friends who adored Tolkien and all his literature, so I decided to enter this fantasy world and there I was, it is my favorite reading I adore this type of reading as well as Harry Potter, Narnia, ... They fascinate me because simply good always triumphs and I prefer a world like this in which the good ones are more and we can fight against the evil existing in the world.
6.-El Perfume: La Historia de un Asesino de Patrick Süskind:
Este libro lo tuve que leer en la Universidad para un trabajo final y puedo decir que su lectura me atrapó desde el principio, es exquisito, dinámico, impresionante, no tengo adjetivos calificativos para describirlo. Trata sobre un chico con poderes especiales para detectar olores y crear perfumes a partir de allí pero hay un aroma que él desea obtener pero es muy complicado. Deben leerlo, les encantará.
6.-The Perfume: The Story of an Assassin by Patrick Süskind:
I had to read this book at the University for a final work and I can say that its reading caught me from the beginning, it is exquisite, dynamic, impressive, I have no qualifying adjectives to describe it. It is about a boy with special powers to detect odors and create perfumes from there but there is a scent that he wants to obtain but it is very complicated. They should read it, they will love it.
7.-1984 de George Orwell:
Este fue uno de los últimos libros que leí, lo hice vía Internet porque no lo encontraba pero lo bajé de la red y quedé prendada de esta lectura por su similitud con lo que pasa en mi país y el mundo en general, me sentí muy identificada realmente. Si tienen oportunidad de leerlo háganlo por favor.
7.-1984 by George Orwell:
This was one of the last books I read, I did it via the Internet because I could not find it but I downloaded it from the network and I was captivated by this reading because of its similarity to what happens in my country and the world in general, I felt very identified Really. If you have the opportunity to read it, please do so.
Hay otros autores, otros libros que también me apasionan y los considero maravillosos pero creo que no terminaría nunca de nombrárselos así que me hice un ejercicio de Cuáles serían los libros que llevaría conmigo si me tocará emigrar? y aquí la respuesta, este post lo dice.
There are other authors, other books that I am also passionate about and I consider them wonderful but I think I would never finish naming them so I did an exercise of What would be the books that I would take with me if I had to emigrate? and here the answer, this post says so.
Como verán, es una selección bastante variada, pasa de lectura de aventuras a romance, a guerra y es simplemente el mundo que amo porque siempre me puedo refugiar en él para escapar de la cruda realidad que siempre amenaza con acabar con la paz que tengo a diario.
As you will see, it is a quite varied selection, it goes from reading adventures to romance, to war and it is simply the world that I love because I can always take refuge in it to escape the harsh reality that always threatens to end the peace I have to diary.
Espero le haya gustado mi post claro está si les gusta leer, sino lo puedo entender y debo decir o afirmar que realmente se me hizo difícil la escogencia porque en verdad la lectura me apasiona. Debo comentar además que dejé de lado los cuentos, la poesía así que en otro post le hablaré sobre esas lecturas.
I hope you liked my post, of course if you like to read, but I can understand it and I must say or affirm that the choice was really difficult for me because reading really fascinates me. I must also comment that I left aside the stories, the poetry so in another post I will talk about those readings.
