D.Buzz Community Highlight of the week

Hello Most Epic People of D.Buzz,

It's that time of the week again, when we look in to the colorful sea of amazing D.BUZZ users and highlight one of them who is doing something cool.

Today is not an exception to that tradition. In fact today we are highlighting someone who joined to talk about gaming, however, they have expanded upon that path and now are on boarding new users as well as providing services to help others.

That is, as Bill and Ted say, “Most Epic”.

That growth and development direction, that community engagement and encouragement is what D.BUZZ is about. Let's discover this Savvy Player together!

We like to believe that D.Buzz is more than just a Dapp; it's a community. It is a community of people with a passion for Crypto, a passion for censorship-resistant content, engagement, and a passion for spreading their message.

We see you, and we love you all.

To give back and express our thanks, every Thursday we will highlight someone from our community in a post across social media. They will be listed as a 50% beneficiary in the post as a way to say thanks!

Today, We would like to highlight @savvyplayer!

Truth be told, we here in the office do not know too much about whom @savvyplayer is. They joined D.BUZZ about a month or so ago. They were driven here to talk about their passion for games and for Splinter lands. Which is cool!

As they developed their reputation grew quick, and in 14 days hit a rep of 50! They asked good questions about their posting, such as if it was too frequently and provide feedback about our platform.

Then they started developing the desire to help onboard new people, providing translation services from English to Filipino, they went on a daily posting streak that we believe they got almost got every day! Then most recently just offered to do free web hosting for the first 5 people who use D.BUZZ who commented on their post. OMG! Who does this, oh, I know the EPIC @savvyplayer does.

So, for being a very active community member, engaging in conversations, giving back to the community, helping to on board new members, we want to say thank you and nominate @savvyplayer as our community highlight of the week!

@savvyplayer, keep gaming, keep helping, keep growing you are awesome!

Much love,
Your Friends over at D.BUZZ.

By the way, I can also translate well from Filipino to English, not just English to Filipino. I do hope legitimate translation requests come to me soon! 😅

  • I shall post a new free service soon!

Congratulation @savvyplayer ! You deserve it.

However, why the author of this post use the word "they". the user name is savvy player, not players.

Posted via D.Buzz

"They" is a gender-neutral (not plural or "genderless") pronoun that is used to refer to a person when their (hahaha, I used it again) gender is uncertain. The profile picture does not automatically tell the gender of the user. 🤔🙂

Examples of when @dbuzz used the word "they" is at their Community Highlight article for @globetrottergcc at https://peakd.com/@dbuzz/d-buzz-community-highlight-globetrottergcc. 😅

I am sure you are a "he".

Hey @dmhafiz and @savvyplayer, author of the post here... first please forgive me for the spelling errors in the article, seems my spellcheck was turned off... why I would turn it off is a good question but I don't know, some times past me likes to mess with future me in these weird ways... I have since turned it back on and edited this article, and the spelling is just a smidge better now... or at least I hope.

It is true that I do not know the gender of @savvyplayer, I would assume a "HE" as well, but even if this were true there is a question of the pronoun that someone would like to be referred to as. For example, I have a friend, who was born as a lady, but likes to be referred to in the gender pronoun of "Styrofoam". Why? IDK... not my place to ask for except. Most times… unless Blatantly clear, I tried to opt for a more neutral tone and use "they".

I guess it's just me being all PC, I truly hope I don't cause any offense.

Thanks for being awesome!

I didn't mind your typing mistakes, because your work was great after all! 😃

Thanks a lot for publishing a great article about me! 🎊😄🎊
