Hola comunidad ❤️ hoy me emociona compartirles esta iniciativa tan buena de @irenenavarroart que trata en contar cómo han mejorado nuestras habilidades durante todo este tiempo en la plataforma. La verdad es que fueron muchos los retos que me propuse comenzar desde que me uni a Hive, en mi mente solo estaba en hacer pequeños trabajos de manualidades en ese momento, ya que junto con mi mamá era lo que más solía hacer, además de dibujar. Pienso que en éste arte influye mucho la práctica y la constancia, hacer todos los días o casi todos un trabajo manual aunque sea pequeño ayuda bastante para mejorar esa habilidad, porque sin darnos cuenta cada trazo se hará más fluido, cada pincelada y cada recorte será más preciso, y por supuesto nuestra creatividad crecerá y jugará un papel importante a la hora de ponernos manos a la obra.
Hello community ❤️ today I'm excited to share with you this great initiative from @irenenavarroart about how our skills have improved during all this time on the platform. The truth is that there were many challenges that I proposed to start since I joined Hive, in my mind was only in doing small crafts at that time, since together with my mom was what I used to do most, besides drawing. I think that in this art influences a lot the practice and constancy, doing every day or almost every day a manual work even if it is small helps a lot to improve that skill, because without realizing each stroke will become more fluid, each brushstroke and each cut will be more accurate, and of course our creativity will grow and will play an important role when we get down to work.
Personalmente siento que he mejorado mucho mis habilidades en las manualidades, por el simple hecho de que ahora me cuesta menos atreverme a hacer trabajos que antes me atemorizaba hacer, por el miedo de hacerlo mal. Después de todos los trabajos que he venido haciendo en la plataforma desde hace un año aproximadamente, me siento capaz de realizar los dibujos que yo quiera, con el material que quiera, diseñando y añadiendo los detalles que quiera, siempre dejando mi toque y hacerlo lo mejor posible.
Concretamente recuerdo que el trabajo que más me costó fue pintar sobre bombillo, la verdad es que no era muy cómodo sobretodo porque me costaba ser precisa, sin salirme de línea y no temblar en los trazos. Y al final, a pesar de todo el temor creo que no me quedo mal, quedé muy satisfecha con el Grinch que había creado para adornar el árbol de navidad con un simple bombillo fundido.
Personally I feel that I have greatly improved my skills in crafts, for the simple fact that now it costs me less to dare to do work that before I was afraid to do, for fear of doing it wrong. After all the work I have been doing on the platform for about a year, I feel able to make the drawings I want, with the material I want, designing and adding the details I want, always leaving my touch and doing my best.
Specifically I remember that the work that cost me the most was painting on a light bulb, the truth is that it was not very comfortable especially because it was difficult to be precise, without going out of line and not shaking in the strokes. And in the end, in spite of all the fear I think I was not bad, I was very satisfied with the Grinch that I had created to decorate the Christmas tree with a simple melted light bulb.
Recuerdo tambien que cuando hice mis primeras publicaciones explicando en tutoriales mis manualidades, yo destacaba que me encantaba realizar trabajos inspirados en dibujos animados, de alguna película, animal u objeto favorito cómo les muestro en las fotos, y aunque no les alcanzo a mostrar todos mis trabajos que he hecho en la plataforma, realmente en siento muy contenta de ver todo lo que he logrado hacer y mejorar durante todo mi recorrido aquí, que según mi opinión ha sido grande el cambio desde el primer día hasta hoy.
I also remember that when I made my first publications explaining in tutorials my crafts, I emphasized that I loved to make works inspired by cartoons, movies, animals or favorite objects as I show in the photos, and although I can't show you all my works that I have done on the platform, I really feel very happy to see all that I have managed to do and improve during my journey here, which in my opinion has been great change from the first day until today.
Pero no solo en las manualidades tuve la oportunidad de mejorar, aquí además conocí un mundo bastante amplio, complejo pero muy bonito que es el maquillaje. La verdad es que a mí siempre me llamó la atención aprender a maquillarme, que técnicas hacer para resaltar rasgos de mi rostro y que productos le convenían a mi piel, y pues...siendo sincera aquí aprendí muchísimo con otras compañeras hivers que compartían sus tips y recomendaciones, en una comunidad además que nos brindaba la oportunidad explotar libremente nuestro talento, las ganas y amor hacia éste arte.
Me hace mucha gracia recordar mi primera publicación en ésta comunidad de maquillaje mostrando mi trabajo en una iniciativa que, me interesó mucho en ese momento porque trataba sobre la música, dejar volar nuestra imaginación y creatividad realizando un maquillaje en nuestra canción favorita. Y ahí yo me decidí hacer un maquillaje rojo, que es el nombre de la canción, y como el cantante durante el vídeo tiene un accidente y sale con el rostro sangrando, pues...a mí se me ocurrió recrear lo mismo, o por lo menos hacer el intento 😅, lo importante fue que me divertí mucho mientras lo hacia y mirarme en las fotos también.

The truth is that I was always interested in learning how to do my makeup, what techniques to use to highlight the features of my face and what products would suit my skin, and well... to be honest, here I learned a lot with other fellow hivers who shared their tips and recommendations, in a community that also gave us the opportunity to freely exploit our talent, desire and love for this art.
It makes me laugh to remember my first publication in this makeup community showing my work in an initiative that interested me a lot at that time because it was about music, letting our imagination and creativity fly by doing a makeup on our favorite song. And there I decided to do a red makeup, which is the name of the song, and as the singer during the video has an accident and comes out with a bleeding face, well...it occurred to me to recreate the same, or at least make the attempt 😅, the important thing was that I had a lot of fun while I did it and look at me in the photos too.
A partir de ahí seguí practicando aunque no lo publicara a mi blog, me propuse a comprar productos y herramientas para ir haciéndolo cada vez un poco mejor, hasta hace poco que unas chicas muy talentosas en la plataforma crearon un reto diario de maquillaje, un tema diferente para cada día, y eso me llamo muchísimo la atención para ponerme a prueba y de paso practicar. Cómo principiante tengo que decir que fue un verdadero reto planificar, organizar y crear el maquillaje que quería, a veces no me podía decidir cuál de todos los diseños hacerme, pero fue muy divertido recrear desde uno muy natural hasta uno más artístico, sin duda algún día me gustaría repetir la experiencia porque me permitió aprender cosas nuevas que no conocía o estaba haciendo mal, y porque no? seguir mejorando más en ésta habilidad 🥰.
From then on I kept practicing even if I didn't publish it on my blog, I decided to buy products and tools to do it better and better, until recently some very talented girls on the platform created a daily makeup challenge, a different theme for each day, and that caught my attention to test myself and practice. As a beginner I have to say that it was a real challenge to plan, organize and create the makeup I wanted, sometimes I could not decide which of all the designs to do, but it was fun to recreate from a very natural to a more artistic one, no doubt someday I would like to repeat the experience because it allowed me to learn new things that I did not know or was doing wrong, and why not ... I hope to continue improving more in this skill 🥰.
Sin duda tengo que admitir que Hive me a permitido mejorar mucho mis habilidades manuales durante todo éste año que inició la pandemia, no solo con las manualidades, sino también en el maquillaje, dibujos, cocina, costura, tejido...un poquito de todo, porque es lo que realmente me gusta, y es muy bonito ver las cosas tan maravillosas que podemos lograr hacer con nuestras manos, y lo lejos que podemos llegar siendo constantes y practicando mucho para mejorar esas habilidades, que quizás al principio no nos creamos capaces, pero que después de hacer el intento nos termina enamorando y sorprendiendo con los resultados.
Without a doubt I have to admit that Hive has allowed me to improve my manual skills during this year that started the pandemic, not only with crafts, but also in makeup, drawing, cooking, sewing, knitting ... a little bit of everything, because it is what I really like, and it is very nice to see how wonderful things we can do with our hands, and how far we can go being constant and practicing a lot to improve those skills, which perhaps at first we do not believe we are capable, but after making the attempt we end up falling in love and surprising us with the results.

Te felicito por todos lo que haz avanzado en tu estadía en Hive, yo nunca me he atrevido con el maquillaje y para mi es lo que mas resalta de tu publicación porque ciertamente el rostro es un lienzo complejo, tiene sus propias particularidades y jamas es igual que pintar en algo plano, te admiro por mostrar todo tu talento :)
