Hoy les comparto como elaboro una refrescante bebida para los días calurosos además de ser muy nutritiva y rica en vitaminas A, B, C, D y E. También nos aporta minerales como: hierro, calcio, fósforo, zinc y magnesio.

Para comenzar debemos tener a mano limones y por supuesto una panela de papelón.

To begin we must have lemons on hand and of course a panela de papelón.

Para los que desconocen que es una panela de papelón, es un alimento típico de mi país Venezuela y es elaborado con jugo de caña de azúcar; mi abuela me ha contado como disfrutaba cuando estaba niña ayudando a elaborar este alimento. El proceso para hacer la panela es simple; el jugo de caña de azúcar se cocina a altas temperaturas hasta que se vuelve una mescla muy espesa y luego se pasa a unos moldes que le dan esta forma que tiene este que tengo en la mano.

For those who do not know that it is a panela de papelón, it is a typical food of my country Venezuela and is made with sugar cane juice; my grandmother has told me how she enjoyed when she was a child helping to make this food. The process to make panela is simple; the sugarcane juice is cooked at high temperatures until it becomes a very thick mixture and then it is passed into some molds that give it this shape that I have in my hand.

Como pueden ver es fácil rayarlo y aun mejor probarlo mientras hago este trabajo y les digo que es muy sabroso comerlo así, tanto que en una ocasión comí hasta que me sentí mareada.

As you can see, it is easy to scratch it and even better to try it while doing this job and I tell you that it is very tasty to eat it like that, so much so that on one occasion I ate until I felt dizzy.

Luego exprimo los limones, como solo voy hacer un vaso de licuadora utilizares dos limones.

Then I squeeze the lemons, as I am only going to make a blender glass, you will use two lemons.

Ahora vierto el papelón en la licuadora, esa cantidad que tengo rayado puede ser mucho así que solo usare la mitad y si le hace falta se lo agrego luego.

Now I pour the papelón in the blender, that amount that I have scratched can be a lot so I will only use half and if necessary I add it later.

Agrego agua para diluir y licuo durante unos minutos.

I add water to dilute and blend for a few minutes.

Lo paso por el colador para eliminar los residuos ya es común que traiga algunos residuos.

I pass it through the strainer to eliminate the residues and it is common that it brings some residues.

Lo devuelvo a la licuadora y le agrego el zumo de limón para licuarlo nuevamente, es bueno agregarle un poco de azúcar.

I return it to the blender and add the lemon juice to blend it again, it is good to add a little sugar.

Y ya está lista mi bebida refrescante y nutritiva para disfrutarla mientras les agradezco por su tiempo y apoyo constante en mis publicaciones, me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad.
