DIY | Snails in my garden/ replica with recyclable material Bricolaje| Caracoles en mi jardín/ réplica con material reciclable

Days ago I felt concern about the plants in my garden, I found that several land shells had days dining with the leaves of my succulents. So, my art today is not a tribute to this herbivorous mollusk XD, I just found it curious to see how they climb the tree trunks with ease, until they reach their goal, with slow but sure steps.

Hace días sentí preocupación por las plantas de mi jardín, encontré que varias caracolas terrestres tenían días cenando con las hojas de mis suculentas. Así que, mi arte de hoy no es un homenaje a éste molusco herbívoro XD, sólo me pareció curioso ver como suben con facilidad por el tronco de los árboles, hasta alcanzar su objetivo, a pasos lentos pero seguros.

Procedure

Mark and cut the body of the mollusk on the cardboard, then extract a cardboard strip for the shell.

Procedimiento

Marcar y cortar en el cartón el cuerpo del molusco, seguidamente extraer una tira de cartón para el carapacho.

Second step is to glue, we glue the antennae, the body and the shell of the snail, and we fix it to the wooden trunk. We varnish the wood to give it shine and protect against moths.

Segundo paso es pegar, pegamos las antenas, el cuerpo y el carapacho del caracol, y lo fijamos al tronco de madera. Barnizamos la madera para derle brillo y proteger contra la polilla.

Finally our snail is ready to go to the photo room. XD

Finalmente nuestro caracol está listo para ir a la sala de fotografías. XD
