Y estando acá en casa he podido desempolvar el closet y hallar mis antiguos cuentos.
Así que el post de hoy se trata de:

Entre tanto buscar pude conseguir mis cuentos de la infancia, esos que mi mamá siempre me leía. O por lo menos, los que quedaban, con tantas mudanzas supongo que más de uno se dañó.
Pero uno de mis favoritos sigue acá y es:
Pinocho
In the meantime, I was able to get my childhood stories, the ones my mother always read to me. Or at least, the ones that were left, with so many moves I guess more than one was damaged.
But one of my favorites is still here and it is:
Pinocchio
El cuento se trata de un carpintero llamado Geppeto, que anhelaba tener un hijo, y mientras tallaba una marioneta pensando en ese hijo, creo una marioneta viviente a quién le pondría Pinocho, y lo criaría como su hijo.

Creo que más allá del cuento, mi mejor recuerdo ahora es darme cuenta que mi mamá buscaba estas estrategias para enseñarme a no mentir, porque sino me crecería la nariz como a Pinocho, y pues yo le creía. Hoy en día me da risa, porque de niños somos muy ingenuos.
También, me gusta por los lindos dibujos que tienen todos estos cuentos.
I think that beyond the story, my best memory now is realizing that my mother used to look for these strategies to teach me not to lie, because otherwise my nose would grow like Pinocchio's, and I believed her. Today it makes me laugh, because as children we are very naive.
Also, I like the beautiful drawings that all these stories have.
Otro de mis cuentos favoritos de la infancia sería Alíbaba y los 40 ladrones, pero lamentablemente, ese no lo encontré en mi closet. Sólo quedan los lindos recuerdos en mi cabeza de todas las noches en las cuales mi mamá me leía todos mis cuentos para irme a dormir, aprendiendo alguna moraleja.
