Continuando con los trabajos en arcilla, hoy les comparto ésta hermosa pieza muy útil y decorativa para nuestras cocinas; para decorar y al mismo tiempo para colgar los paños.
Es muy fácil de hacer y conseguir el material en cualquier ferretería o la puedes extraer del subsuelo; en la orillas de los ríos, quebradas y lagunas, en esos lugares se encuentran muy accesibles para limpiarla y usarla.
Trabajar la arcilla con la técnica de placas, es muy sencillo, cómo se las expliqué en los post pasados y es factible para elaborar diferentes piezas que a medida que vaya elaborado se las voy mostrando.

Continuing with the clay works, today I share with you this beautiful piece, very useful and decorative for our kitchens; to decorate and at the same time to hang the cloths. It is very easy to make and get the material in any hardware store or you can extract it from the subsoil; on the banks of rivers, streams and lagoons, in those places they are very accessible to clean and use it. Working clay with the plate technique is very simple, as I explained in previous posts, and it is feasible to make different pieces that I will show you as it is made.

Materiales que se va a necesitar.

Un kg de arcilla.
Un rodillo de madera, para estirar la arcilla.
Un trozo de tela de lona o de jean.
Un pincel, un vaso con pega de arcilla.
Una cuchilla o navaja pequeña.
Patrón hecho en cartulina.

Materials that will be needed.

One kg of clay.
A wooden roller, to stretch the clay.
A piece of canvas or denim. A brush, a glass > with clay glue.
A small blade or knife.
Pattern made on cardboard.

Ahora con el paso a pasos para elaborar el Porta paños.

Now with the step by steps to make the Cloth Holder.y

Estirar sobre el pedazo de tela, el arcilla con el rodillo.

Stretch on the piece of cloth, the clay with the roller.

Recortar sobre la arcilla el patrón de cartulina, para sacar la base.

Cut out the cardboard pattern on the clay to remove the base.

Elaboré las letras con la técnica del rollito y las fuí colocando una por una sobre la placa, uniéndose con pega de arcilla, aplicadas con el pincel.

I made the letters with the roll technique and placed them one by one on the plate, joining them with clay glue, applied with the brush.

Después modele con la mano los ganchos donde se van a colgar los paños.

Then model with your hand the hooks where the cloths will be hung.

para finalizar realicé las flores y hojas, las uni con pega de arcilla aplicada con un pincel, luego limpié bien con el pincel, quitando todos los excesos de arcilla.

To finish, I made the flowers and leaves, I joined them with clay glue applied with a brush, then I cleaned well with the brush, removing all the excess clay.
