¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy por fin me he atrevido a presentarles a una de las 3 mascotas que tenemos en casa, se trata de nuestra querida Nikita.
Dos meses estuve comentándoles que nos encontrábamos en la búsqueda de un pequeño perrito para llenar de mucho amor y que nos hiciera compañía y cuidara al mismo tiempo.
Debía ser un perro pequeño porque acá tenemos un gato llamado Simba, y todos sabemos el odio eterno que se tienen los gatos y los perros. Además no queríamos que nuestro gato se sintiera intimidado en su espacio, sino que poco a poco fuera adaptándose a la presencia de un perro.
Tuvimos una temporada difícil pues en un lapso menor a dos meses pasaron 3 cachorritos por nuestra casa, a 2 de ellos se los presenté por acá, pero lamentablemente todos fallecieron por diferentes circunstancias.
Algo que nos pegó bastante duro, sobre todo a mi esposo que les dio todo su amor desde el día 1 a cada uno de ellos, y el tener que verlos partir no es algo sencillo.
Me negué rotundamente a tener otro perro pues ya había sido bien difícil el superar estas perdidas como para arriesgarnos nuevamente a abrir las puertas de nuestra casa a otra mascota y que esta partiera antes de lo esperado.

Today I have finally dared to introduce you to one of the 3 pets that we have at home, it is our beloved Nikita.
For two months I was telling them that we were looking for a little puppy to fill with a lot of love and to keep us company and take care of us at the same time.
It must have been a small dog because here we have a cat named Simba, and we all know the eternal hatred that cats and dogs have. In addition, we did not want our cat to feel intimidated in his space, but to gradually adapt to the presence of a dog.
We had a difficult season because in a period of less than two months, 3 puppies passed by our house, I introduced 2 of them here, but unfortunately they all died due to different circumstances.
Something that hit us pretty hard, especially my husband who gave all his love from day 1 to each of them, and having to watch them leave is not something easy.
I flatly refused to have another dog because it had already been very difficult to overcome these losses to risk opening the doors of our house to another pet and that it left earlier than expected.
Hace casi un mes mi esposo me dio la noticia que había decidido (sin consultarlo conmigo) traer a casa una nueva perrita. Estuvo hablando con el veterinario de casa sobre una perrita que el había rescatado de la calle y que buscaba un nuevo hogar.
Mi esposo sin pensarlo le dijo que la trajera y a mi me tocó aceptarlo.
Es entonces cuando Nikita llega a nuestra casa, llena de energía y amor para dar. Es una perrita de raza mestiza, pero con un pelaje atigrado hermoso.
Créanme cuando les digo que tiene mucha energía. Normalmente un perrito se queda tranquilo cuando come, pues ella no. Es cuando más le provoca morder, correr y saltar.
Algo maravilloso porque era lo que quería mi esposo, una perrita juguetona con la que compartir a diario.
Almost a month ago my husband gave me the news that he had decided (without consulting me) to bring home a new dog. He was talking to the home vet about a dog that he had rescued from the street and was looking for a new home.
My husband without thinking told him to bring it and I had to accept it.
That's when Nikita comes to our house, full of energy and love to give. She is a mixed breed dog, but with a beautiful brindle coat.
Believe me when I tell you that she has a lot of energy. Normally a puppy is calm when she eats, because she does not. It is when she most provokes him to bite, run and jump.
Something wonderful because it was what my husband wanted, a playful dog to share daily.
Nos alegra mucho como se emociona cuando abrimos la puerta del patio en la mañana. Brinca, salta y hasta hace sonidos de alegría.
Tener una mascota es una gran responsabilidad, no es solo tenerla para que cuide nuestras casas, es demostrarle con hechos que uno la quiere. Alimentarlos, bañarlos, estar pendientes de cualquier malestar que tengan y sobre todo darles tanto amor como ellos nos lo ofrecen a nosotros.
No me había animado a presentarla por todo los que les comenté anteriormente, pero yo sé que ella es fuerte y que va a estar por muchos años brindándonos su hermosa presencia.
We are so happy how excited you are when we open your patio door in the morning. She jumps, jumps and even makes sounds of joy.
Having a pet is a great responsibility, it is not just having it to take care of our homes, it is showing it with facts that you love it. Feed them, bathe them, be aware of any discomfort they have and above all give them as much love as they offer us.
I had not encouraged myself to introduce her because of all those I mentioned previously, but I know that she is strong and that she will be for many years offering us her beautiful presence.
Ayer aproveché el sol de la tarde para tomarle estas lindas fotos, esta última fue una de mis favoritas pues hace referencia a lo que les comentaba antes. El destino de esta perrita es crecer grande y fuerte. ♥
