Yesterday in my country Venezuela we celebrated Mother's Day, those who do whatever it takes to make everything go well, those who cook the richest and those who find the perfect words for each moment, that's why at home we decided to prepare a special meal for my mother and of course also for our neighbor Mayra, because we decided to share this great day with her and her children and that is why we prepared a delicious pasticho or lasagna to share, we also had dessert and a snack.
Y allí estaban, mi mamá, la vecina y la rica comida que preparamos y a pesar de ser su día ellas también querían ayudar y es que como dije la comida de nuestras mamás y abuelas es única e increíble, así que entre todas pusimos manos a la obra. Unas iban arreglando los moldes, otras preparando los ingredientes y la salsa bechamel y otros los panes para acompañar, en fin todos hicimos un poco para que la comida quedara deliciosa y saliera excelente y así fue, me di cuenta que somos muy bendecidos en mi familia por tener al rededor gente que nos quiere y nos acompaña y por disfrutar los alimentos.

Some were fixing the molds, others preparing the ingredients and the bechamel sauce and others the breads to accompany it, in short we all did a little to make the food delicious and come out excellent and that's how it was, I realized that we are very blessed in my family for having around people who love us and accompany us and for enjoying food.
Mi mamá fue la encargada de armar los pastichos, y es que ella lo hace perfecto, ponia varias capas de cada ingrediente y como pueden ver los hicimos de pollo, pero normalmente se hace de carne molida, pero ayer queriamos variar y por eso nos decidimos por hacerlo de pollo, realmente todo quedó delicioso y además la vecina trajo un refresco para acompañar el pasticho, en fin, cada uno hacia su parte y por eso las cosas salen bien, fue un día de estar en casa pero la pasamos increíble, y es que como dije, no se necesita hacer mucho para pasarla bien mientras tengas a tu familia y personas que te quieren al lado.

Finalmente servimos, comimos el pasticho y luego el postre, una torta tres leches que había quedado del día anterior por nuestro cumpleaños, así que comimos demasiado este día y agradecimos por poder disfrutar de tantas cosas. Mi mamá recibió muchos regalos de las vecinas este día así que fue un día genial, ella no se puede quejar.
