Bird's-eye graphic landscape-11

in GEMS4 years ago

Photos from high height appeared as long as the photography itself appeared. People ascended to great heights in various ways (balloon, plane, airship, etc.) and captured the world around them. Then it was called aerophotography. Perhaps this name has now been preserved, but with the wide spread of quadrocopters, the boundaries of genres have blurred and now it is simply called the landscape.

Once these photos were strictly secret. After all, then there were no maps from the satellite, and only the military had paper maps on which all objects were detailed.

Now you can’t hide anything from anyone! Five years ago on maps from a good quality satellite there were only areas where there are any settlements. Already now you can see almost any area shown on the map, whether it be a dense forest or a swamp.

I can imagine how in the future there will be 3D maps of any locality, as is now implemented with cities. Or there will be panoramic shots everywhere, as now only in large cities.

Technology is leaping forward. Living is only becoming more interesting, albeit expensive.

And with technology you need to keep up, otherwise you will not achieve high results. No, you can stay in the classical genres, but you just need to be outstanding in your field...otherwise your competitors will devour you.

Need to keep an eye out. Take pictures for yourself, but do not forget about the trends. Build your style, but still with an eye on trends and established styles. Otherwise, do not survive.

And if you do nothing, then you can remain faceless in photography. After all, whatever one may say, even documentary photography is still art!

Do I need a quadrocopter? I think not yet. One helicopter flight is enough for six months, and if more often, then there is already a glut of images and scenes from height.

My wife said that my frequent wave-like change of genre would not bear good fruit: the drone would lie in the closet most of the time. Perhaps this is not so, but there is still some truth in her words!

And so the anticipation of the flight, the enjoyment of the process, and then the raking of a thousand photos remain...

To be continued...
