In my house it is a tradition to eat grains at least once a week, due to the large amount of iron, vitamins and minerals that they offer us when we eat them. We usually eat black or red beans but today we decided to vary a bit by making a delicious bean soup. We call it "soup" because it includes vegetables that make the dish more complete, we also incorporate sausages, banana and even rice but separately. This is a completely familiar recipe, I hope you like it and try it at home because it is exquisite.
INGREDIENTES/INGREDIENTS:
- Frijoles / Beans
- Verduras: papas, zanahorias, cebollas, hierbas aromáticas, cebollín y cilantro / Vegetables: potatoes, carrots, onions, herbs, chives, and coriander
- Plátanos maduros / Ripe bananas
- Salchichas / Sausages
- Arroz / Rice
- Agua / Water
- Sal al gusto / Salt to taste
PASOS/ STEPS:
We start by placing the beans in boiling water with salt to taste
Then we cut the vegetables into irregular shapes and the size of our preference
Once the beans are boiled, we add the vegetables so that they integrate perfectly into our soup.
Finally, we are stirring every so often so that they do not stick. Seasonings are optional and to everyone's taste. They can accompany it with whatever they want, in my case with sausages, rice and bananas it was the best option.
This is the rich result. As you can see, it is a delicious recipe that will completely please our palate. This is the special, easy and quick recipe that my family uses to make this delicious lunch.
