Hace días comentaba una de las publicaciones de @tarazkp y le decía que tenía una hermana que presta sus servicios como enfermera en un reconocido hospital de Guayaquil, Ecuador. Entre los países latinoamericanos es uno de los más afectados, en poco tiempo los niveles de contagio y decesos han superado lo que en principio el Estado creyó mantener en control. Los servicios sanitarios y el talento humano que hace lo posible por brindar atención a los afectados, no da basto con la cantidad de enfermos.
A few days ago I commented on one of @tarazkp publications and told him that I had a sister who works as a nurse in a well-known hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Among the Latin American countries it is one of the most affected, in a short time the levels of contagion and deaths have exceeded what the state initially thought it could control. The health services and the human talent that do their best to provide care to those affected, are not enough with the number of sick people.
Las lamentables imágenes y escenas de dolor reflejan una realidad preocupante, muchos familiares han dejado abandonados los cadáveres en calles y sitios públicos porque no cuentan con los medios para sepultar a sus seres queridos. Autoridades civiles y militares activaron un plan de vigilancia y recolección de cadáveres en la vía pública. En medio de este doloroso episodio, el personal sanitario viene siendo sometido a jornadas extraordinarias de servicio, esto incide desfavorablemente en su estado físico, emocional y atenta contra la salud de ellos y por ende de sus familiares.
The regrettable images and scenes of pain reflect a worrying reality: many family members have left the bodies on the streets and in public places because they do not have the means to bury their loved ones. Civilian and military authorities activated a plan to monitor and collect bodies on public roads. In the midst of this painful episode, health care personnel have been subjected to extraordinary hours of service, which has a negative impact on their physical and emotional state and threatens their health and that of their families.
Hace unas dos semanas que mi hermana venía solicitando reposo médico y cese de sus actividades por presentar problemas de salud relacionados con dolores de espalda, cansancio, problemas respiratorios y malestar general; sin embargo, no se le concedía reposo; al contrario, el régimen de turno de 12 horas de trabajo fue cambiado a 24 horas y movilizada a un sitio de mayor riesgo. La vulnerabilidad de su organismo hizo posible la entrada del patógeno COVID-19 y ahora su estado es crítico.
About two weeks ago, my sister had been requesting medical rest and cessation of her activities due to health problems related to back pain, tiredness, respiratory problems and general malaise; however, she was not granted rest; on the contrary, the 12-hour shift regime was changed to 24 hours and she was mobilized to a higher risk site. The vulnerability of her body made possible the entry of the pathogen COVID-19 and now her condition is critical.
Tuvo que agudizarse su estado de salud para que pudiera ser considerada como paciente con COVID-19 y expedirse el respectivo permiso sanitario para que cesara actividades y recibiera tratamiento como un ser humano que también puede enfermar. De hecho, hay personal sanitario que está siendo obligado a laborar bajo condiciones que atentan contra su salud y este hecho irresponsable pone en riesgo la vida de pacientes y familiares que no son portadores del virus.
Her health status had to be exacerbated so that she could be considered a COVID-19 patient and the respective health permit issued so that she could cease activities and receive treatment as a human being who can also become ill. In fact, there are health workers who are being forced to work under conditions that threaten their health and this irresponsible act puts the lives of patients and families who are not carriers of the virus at risk.
El estado de salud es estable, según me informa. Mi hermana es una mujer fuerte, con pensamiento positivo y enérgica consciencia; hoy recibió terapia de bio-magnetismo que es para eliminar el virus. Se encuentra en casa y con su equipo de nebulización se mantiene cumpliendo estrictamente las indicaciones médicas. Ella sabe lo terrible que es la enfermedad y las etapas que implica su evolución durante los días de tratamiento. Le ha tocado envolver decenas de cadáveres y su insistencia por solicitar asistencia y reposo médico respondía más a su amor a la familia. Mi hermana es madre de dos bellos hijos, una adolescente y un menor de 7 años. Dios les bendiga los quiero mucho.
The state of health is stable, he informs me. My sister is a strong woman, with positive thinking and energetic conscience; today she received bio-magnetism therapy which is to eliminate the virus. She is at home and with her nebulization equipment she keeps strictly following the medical indications. She knows how terrible the disease is and the stages that its evolution implies during the days of treatment. She has had to wrap dozens of corpses and her insistence on requesting medical assistance and rest was more in keeping with her love for her family. My sister is the mother of two beautiful children, a teenager and a 7-year-old boy. God bless them, I love them very much.
Al igual que tú y yo, mi hermana es un ser de Luz; está muy consciente de eso y toma esta situación como una prueba para elevar más de estado de consciencia. En pocos días habrá expulsado ese agente viral de su luminoso organismo y estará recuperada para regresar al hospital a brindar la ayuda que requieren los pacientes. Concluyo con el envío amoroso de luz, energía y consciencia para todas aquellas personas que ocupen cargos de autoridad política, sanitaria e institucional en Ecuador y todo el mundo. El personal sanitario, policial, militar, bomberos y demás funcionarios de rescate, son seres humanos que merecen ser tratados con respeto, valoren a su personal. Un abrazo.
Like you and me, my sister is a being of Light; she is very aware of that and takes this situation as a test to raise her consciousness further. In a few days she will have expelled that viral agent from her luminous body and will be recovered to return to the hospital to provide the help required by the patients. I conclude with the loving sending of light, energy and consciousness to all those people who occupy positions of political, health and institutional authority in Ecuador and around the world. Healthcare personnel, police, military, firefighters and other rescue officials, are human beings who deserve to be treated with respect, value their staff. A hug.
