"Blurt post-(Probit)listing"

in GEMS3 years ago

After the Probit listing for Blurt, this chain is starting to get more attention, especially from Hive/Steem users. This is exactly why getting listed on top exchanges put more legitimacy to a project. It gives users something to talk about with friends outside of Blurt since most of the Blurtters are also from Hive & Steem.

We know that Blurt had a rough start and it's due to the fact that it has fewer supporters compared to Hive & Steem. Currently, there is 3 very similar product that offers the same basic features; blog, curate, and earn. None of them really create something new after their fork from Steem and it's totally understandable because it's a good product built on top of high-quality technology. Although there are flaws we can all agree that it's a revolutionary product. There's even a moment when Steem was seen as if it can take over the whole social space and rival against the mainstream social media apps available. The app boom is really the most exciting time for me in that chain. That's why it's frustrating that the momentum wasn't sustained and development was put on halt and sadly ended for many of the DApps.

Now people are looking for something new. I feel that Blurt has made a good distinction between Hive & Steem. The founders are also determined in improving the product to the next level of immutability, decentralization, and user experience. That's something that makes Blurt the most progressive in terms of idea creation. Only time will tell if these ideas can be implemented or will be archived somewhere.

I know that development takes time but once the momentum begins and with sufficient support from the community then it will be unstoppable!

Blurt-On!
