Después será demasiado tarde
De que nos vale decir "me hubiese gustado hacer"... cuándo pudiste y no valoraste la oportunidad, dejaste todo para después, mostrando así arrogancia, porque nadie tiene seguro el día de mañana, tampoco nadie se merece que pospongamos ni el tiempo ni las palabras y mucho menos las acciones buenas que debería recibir de ti.
What good is it to say "I would have liked to do..." when you could and not value the opportunity, you left everything for later, thus showing arrogance, because no one has tomorrow for sure, no one deserves that we postpone neither the time nor the words and much less the good actions that they should receive from you.
Cuando vamos pregonando que esas personas son importantes para nosotros y que quererlas nos hacen feliz, entonces, ¿verdad que resulta contradictorio no tener tiempo para dedicarles? realmente lo es, sin embargo, todos en algún momento hemos actuado así, lastimando a quienes queremos y amamos, pensado que luego tendremos el tiempo necesario para compensarlo.
When we go around proclaiming that these people are important to us and that loving them makes us happy, then, isn't it contradictory not to have time to dedicate to them? It really is, however, we have all acted this way at some point, hurting those we adore and love, thinking that later we will have the necessary time to make up for it.
Pero aquí está el fatal error, el tiempo, el suceso imprevisto o una fatal situación nos roban todos esos momentos que dejamos para después, dejándonos frustrados y con muchos remordimientos, esos que nos hacen sufrir, llorar y querer devolver el tiempo atrás, pero eso jamás lograremos conseguir, por mucho que nos esforcemos, como dicen por allí "hay cosas que el dinero jamás podrá comprar" y una de esas cosas es el tiempo.
But here is the fatal mistake, time, the unforeseen event or a fatal situation rob us all those moments we left for later, leaving us frustrated and with many regrets, those that make us suffer, cry and want to return the time back, but that we will never get, no matter how hard we try, as they say over there "there are things that money can never buy" and one of those things is time.
Sin embargo, una de las razones que ocupa gran parte de nuestro valioso tiempo, es el esmero por hacer dinero, robándonos así muchas cosas que sin darnos cuenta nos alejan de tantos momentos felices, por ejemplo, compartir en familia, hablar con un buen amigo, hacer un mensaje emotivo y consolar a quienes lo necesiten o jugar como si aún fuéramos niños, son tantas las cosas, que quizás me llevaría un buen trayecto para terminar
de mencionar, la ambición por el dinero se convierte en un peligroso ladrón del tiempo, ese que pudiéramos dedicar para hacer feliz y serlo nosotros mismos.
However, one of the reasons that occupies much of our valuable time, is the dedication to make money, thus robbing us of many things that without realizing take us away from so many happy moments, for example, share with family, talk to a good friend, make an emotional message and comfort those who need it or play as if we were still children, there are so many things, that perhaps it would take me a long way to finish mentioning, the ambition to make money becomes a dangerous thief of time, what which we could dedicate to make happy and be happy ourselves.
Sin lugar a dudas el tiempo no perdona lo que desperdiciamos de él, pero sí nos ofrece la oportunidad de aprovecharlo mientras él corre, así que los invito a tomar la firme determinación para que valoremos esa preciosa oportunidad que no sabemos hasta cuándo la tendremos.
Undoubtedly, time does not forgive what we waste of it, but it does offer us the opportunity to take advantage of it while it is running, so I invite you to take the firm determination to value that precious opportunity that we do not know until when we will have it.
Hagamos las cosas que dejamos de hacer con las personas que aún tenemos a nuestro lado, disfrutemos momentos de calidad, amemos y dejémonos amar. Demos buenos motivos para que las personas nos valoren, nos recuerden bonito y mejor aún para que nos extrañen cuando no estemos.
Let's do the things we stopped doing with the people we still have by our side, let's enjoy quality moments, let's love and let ourselves be loved. Let's give good reasons for people to value us, to remember us beautifully and better yet to miss us when we are gone.
