Desde los 18 años conocí lo que era en un ambiente laboral, un año después conseguí mi primer puesto de trabajo fijo en una institución pública, han pasado algunos años desde entonces y a pesar que mi manera de pensar es distinta, mis motivaciones no han cambiado mucho.
Since I was 18 years old I knew what it was like in a work environment, a year later I got my first permanent job in a public institution, some years have passed since then and although my way of thinking is different, my motivations have not changed much.

Desde pequeña se me inculco que el dinero no debe ser tomado como lo más importante de la vida, mucho menos ponerla por encima de ella. Sabemos que es necesario para vivir, pero no puede ser la única motivación que puedas tener, cuando me gradué de bachiller mi destino como estudiante de buenas calificaciones residente de uno de los estados con mayor explotación de petróleo del país, un padre con una amplia experiencia en ese ámbito y un barril de petróleo en su mejor precio, parecían señales del cielo que apuntaban a que debía graduarme en ingeniería en petróleo.
Since I was a child I was taught that money should not be taken as the most important thing in life, much less put above it. We know that it is necessary to live, but it cannot be the only motivation you can have, when I graduated from high school my destiny as a student with good grades living in one of the states with the largest oil exploitation in the country, a father with extensive experience in that field and a barrel of oil at its best price, seemed like signs from heaven that pointed to the fact that I should graduate in petroleum engineering.
La presión en esos tiempos era algo de todos los días, me decían cosas como “Con esa carrera ganaras mucho dinero” “Te dará oportunidades de entrar en una empresa transnacional” “las empresas de perforación de pozos petroleros, son los que mejor pagan” y así muchos comentarios que buscaban como objetivo que me inscribiera en la universidad de oriente a estudiar ingeniería en petróleo. Pensar que pasaría 5 años de mi vida esforzándome en una carrera que no me llamaba la atención en lo mínimo, y según tendría estabilidad económica, con un trabajo que seguro no ejercería porque tampoco me gustaba, en mi corazón era una traición a mí misma.
The pressure in those days was something of every day, they told me things like "With this career you will earn a lot of money" "It will give you opportunities to enter a transnational company" "the oil well drilling companies are the ones that pay the best" and so many comments that sought as an objective that I enrolled in the University of the East to study petroleum engineering. To think that I would spend 5 years of my life working hard in a career that did not call my attention in the least, and according to them I would have economic stability, with a job that I surely would not do because I did not like it either, in my heart it was a betrayal to myself.
Así como en los estudios, siempre mi motivación principal para trabajar o aceptar un trabajo se encuentra en hacer algo que realmente me haga sentir bien y vaya con mis principios. La primera vez que pensé en buscar trabajo solo pensaba en tener dinero y ser independiente de mis padres, pero luego llego la madurez y todas las cosas que influyen en el ambiente laboral. Trabajo es trabajo, pero está en tus manos elegir ese que te ayude sobrellevar el cansancio y las largas horas de dedicación. En mi caso particular, cuando trabajo mis motivaciones pueden ser, un trabajo que sea en mi área de estudio (la mejor motivación) un trabajo mediante el cual pueda ayudar a otros, (trabajo social) o que me ofrezca crecimiento personal y profesional.
Just as in my studies, my main motivation to work or accept a job is always to do something that really makes me feel good and goes with my principles. The first time I thought about looking for a job I only thought about having money and being independent from my parents, but then came maturity and all the things that influence the work environment. Work is work, but it is in your hands to choose the one that helps you cope with the fatigue and long hours of dedication. In my particular case, when I work my motivation can be a job that is my area of study (the best motivation), a job through which I can help others (social work) or that offers me personal and professional growth
Sinceramente, estar en un trabajo que no me ofrezca ninguna de las motivaciones antes mencionadas no me gustaría en lo absoluto y mi dedicación se verá afectada realmente. Sentir que estoy en un lugar donde no avanzo y pierdo el tiempo, en términos profesionales me hace replantearme, ¿Qué estoy haciendo con mi vida? Además de generar mucha frustración. Ya he estado en esa situación antes y solo me pongo triste y depresiva, a pesar de que no tengo el trabajo de mis sueños mi actual trabajo cumple con una de las características antes mencionadas, ayudar a la gente, bueno mediana mente apoyar y ayudar a personas que lo necesitan, eso compensa el mal salario y otras cosas.
Honestly, being in a job that does not offer me any of the aforementioned motivations I would not like at all and my dedication will be really affected. Feeling that I am in a place where I am not advancing and wasting my time, in professional terms makes me rethink, what am I doing with my life? It also generates a lot of frustration. I have been in that situation before and I just get sad and depressed, even though I don't have the job of my dreams my current job fulfills one of the above mentioned characteristics, helping people, well median mind supporting and helping people in need, that compensates for the bad salary and other things.
Sin embargo, en la plataforma de Hive encontré dos de estas características, sin mencionar que es divertido, me ha ayudado a superarme, me mantiene ocupada durante la cuarentena, en fin, me siento muy feliz por poder hacer muchas cosas que me gustan y compartirlo con ustedes, esa es mi mayor motivación para estar en hive, que puedo ser fiel a mí misma.
However, in the Hive platform I found two of these characteristics, not to mention that it's fun, it has helped me overcome myself, it keeps me busy during my quarantine, in short, I feel very happy to be able to do many things that I like and share it with you, that's my biggest motivation to be in hive, that I can be true to myself.

así es la verdad que nada mejor en la vida que hacer lo que realmente te ayude a sentir bien con uno mismo...sin importar la remuneración algunas cosas se hacen mas por pasión que por dinero, porque a nivel personal es gratificante...exitos
