The importance of inquiring // La importancia de indagar
One of the things I am known for is being very curious, and not in the bad meaning of the word, but rather in an aspect that I think we should all try to include in our lives. I'm talking about investigating, inquiring, looking for the reason for things, not believing in everything you're told, which may or may not be totally true.
Una de las cosas por las que me caracterizo es por ser muy curioso, y no en el mal significado de la palabra, si no, más bien, en un aspecto que, a mi parecer, todos deberíamos intentar incluir en nuestras vidas. Hablo de investigar, de indagar, de buscarle la razón a las cosas, de no creer en todo lo que te digan, que puede, o no, ser totalmente cierto.

Thanks to this quarantine, and that many people can not generate income as they previously did, both on the Internet and in different media, there is an abundance of scams, fake academies, pyramid schemes, which unfortunately many people fall, thus resulting, mostly, swindled, due to the seductions of such incredible (and impossible) promises that these so-called "businesses" offer them.
Gracias a esta cuarentena, y que muchas personas no pueden generar ingresos como anteriormente lo hacían, tanto en el internet como en diferentes medios, abundan gran cantidad de estafas, falsas academias, esquemas piramidales, en los que lastimosamente muchas personas caen, resultando así, en su mayoría, estafados, debido a las seducciones de tan increíbles (e imposibles) promesas que estos supuestos “negocios” les ofrecen.
These scams would be easily avoidable, with a little research on the Internet, as these are not new, take many years in fact, so there is enough evidence, testimony and plenty of tools with which we could make a medium opinion on these and if the business really can bring us benefits, or, conversely, make us lose money and time.
Estas estafas serían fácilmente evitables, con un poco de investigación en Internet, ya que estas no son nuevas, llevan muchos años de hecho, por ello, hay suficientes pruebas, testimonios e infinidad de herramientas con las podríamos hacernos una mediana opinión sobre estas y si el negocio de verdad nos puede traer beneficios, o, por el contrario, hacernos perder dinero y tiempo.
With this I do not mean that there are only scams on the Internet, because in fact there are thousands of businesses or jobs, totally legal and correct to which we could get a lot of profit, but always be careful with those businesses that use you to finance them and in turn leave you with nothing, always remembering the famous phrase "if something sounds too easy, most likely not true", because all these businesses that if worth it takes effort, dedication and perseverance to thrive in them.
Con esto no quiero decir que solo haya estafas en Internet, porque de hecho hay miles de negocios o trabajos, totalmente legales y correctos a los cuales podríamos sacarle mucho provecho, pero siempre tener cuidado con aquellos negocios que te usan para financiarlos y su vez dejarte sin nada, siempre recordando la conocida frase “si algo suena muy fácil, muy probablemente no sea cierto”, ya que todos estos negocios que si valen la pena conllevan esfuerzo, dedicación y constancia para prosperar en ellos.
But we should not only be curious and investigate business, there are countless cases where curiosity can benefit us. In my case, whenever someone talks to me about a subject that I am completely unaware of, I always try to do a little research on it, so that the next time I talk to that person, I have a much better basis for starting a proper conversation.
Pero no solo deberíamos ser curiosos e indagar en los negocios, hay infinidad de casos en que la curiosidad nos puede beneficiar. En mi caso, siempre que alguien me habla sobre algún tema del que ignoro completamente, siempre procuro investigar un poco sobre él, para que la próxima vez que hable con esa persona, tenga mucha mejor base para entablar una conversación como corresponde.
We must always explore different opinions and points of view, consult the source in case of a news item, read a contract very well before signing it or simply look for the meaning of those words that we do not know, are some of many things that can, from saving us from a predicament, to nourish us with knowledge, which are so important in a current world where misinformation and embezzlement abound.
Siempre debemos explorar distintas opiniones y puntos de vistas, consultar la fuente en caso de una noticia, leer muy bien un contrato ante de firmarlo o simplemente buscar el significado de aquellas palabras que desconozcamos, son algunas de tantas cosas, que nos pueden, desde salvar de un aprieto, a nutrirnos de conocimientos, que son tan importantes en un mundo actual en el que la desinformación y malversación abundan.

That is very true. A lot of scam opportunities were created during this period in order to feed the Hunger of people who need money or people who were unemployed. We just need to always inquire and not to invest with our emotions more importantly.
Unfortunately, there are people like that, and you have to be very careful with them, and the only way is to be knowledgeable about the subject and not get carried away by the first thing they say.
