Juan era un niño muy tímido y solitario, sus padres se había mudado a la ciudad hace pocos meses y lo inscribieron en un colegio cerca de su nueva casa, ellos esperaban que pudiera hacer nuevos amigos, ya que en la otra escuela era objeto de burlas por su excesivo peso. Juan era un niño corpulento y muy grande para su edad, cuando se burlaban de él usaba la fuerza para defenderse, y casi todos las semanas lo llevaban a la dirección como castigo.
Sus padres estaban esperanzados de que en la nueva escuela fuera diferente, y antes de comenzar las clases conversaron con Juan sobre el tema – ¡No queremos que te pelees Juan! le advirtió su padre antes de dejarlo en el colegio.
Juan was a very shy and lonely boy, his parents had moved to the city a few months ago and they enrolled him in a school near his new home, they hoped he could make new friends since at the other school he was teased due to its excessive weight. Juan was a big boy and very big for his age, when they made fun of him he used force to defend himself, and almost every week they took him to the office as punishment.
His parents were hopeful that at the new school it would be different, and before classes began they talked to Juan about it "we don't want you to fight, Juan!" His father warned him before dropping him off at school.
La mañana transcurrió sin novedad, pero a la hora de la salida Juan vio como unos niños estaban golpeando a otro niño, no le pareció una pelea justa ya que eran dos contra uno, por lo que decidió intervenir y ayudar al niño. Desde ese día Andrés y Juan fueron amigos inseparables, se cuidaban mutuamente y se ayudaban con las tareas. Descubrieron que vivían cerca y se visitaban muy a menudo, Andrés era el hermano Juan nunca había tenido.
Los padres de Juan estaban muy felices de que Juan al fin tuviera un amigo con quien compartir, y esa amistad acerco a las dos familias, siempre había una excusa para reunirse y celebrar cualquier acontecimiento. En una de esas fiestas Juan comenzó a sentirse mal, le faltaba el aire y se desmayó. Sus padres muy preocupados lo llevaron al hospital donde le diagnosticaron una grave enfermedad del corazón causada por su excesivo peso, Juan ameritaba un nuevo corazón urgentemente o podía morir.
The morning passed without incident, but at the time of departure Juan saw how some children were hitting another child, it did not seem like a fair fight since they were two against one, so he decided to intervene and help the boy. From that day Andrés and Juan were inseparable friends, they took care of each other and helped each other with everything. They discovered that they lived nearby and visited each other very often, Andrés was the brother Juan had never had.
Juan's parents were very happy that Juan finally had a friend to share with, and that friendship brought the two families closer, there was always an excuse to get together and celebrate any event. In one of those parties Juan began to feel bad, he was short of breath and passed out. His very worried parents took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a serious heart disease caused by his excessive weight. Juan urgently needed a new heart or he could die.
Los padres de Juan estaban desolados con la noticia, solo un milagro podía salvarlo. Cuando Andrés se enteró que Juan necesitaba un corazón les dijo a sus padres que él le daría el suyo, comenzó a dibujar un enorme corazón en una hoja donde colocó sus nombres mientras sus lágrimas caían sobre el papel. Andrés pidió a sus padres que lo llevaran al hospital a ver a su amigo. Al llegar al hospital muy emocionado le entregó su corazón a Juan diciéndole:
-Vas estar bien, juntos vamos a compartir mi corazón y va a latir fuertemente hasta que consigas uno solo para ti.
Juan's parents were devastated by the news, only a miracle could save him. When Andrés found out that Juan needed a heart he told his parents that he would give him his, he began to draw a huge heart on a sheet where he placed their names as his tears fell on the paper. Andrés asked his parents to take him to the hospital to see his friend. Upon arriving at the hospital, very excited, he gave his heart to Juan saying:
"You are going to be fine, together we are going to share my heart and it is going to beat strongly until you get only one for yourself."
Los amigos se abrazaron, comenzaron a jugar y a divertirse con algunos juegos de mesa. Milagrosamente Juan salió de la crisis y está mejorando, esta mañana lo llamaron para realizar el transplante, mientras tanto el corazón de Andrés late para ambos y su amistad crece día a día.
The friends hugged each other, started playing, and having fun with some board games. Miraculously Juan came out of the crisis and is improving, this morning they called him to perform the transplant, meanwhile, Andrés' heart beats for both of them and their friendship grows day by day.

Que bonita historia, me hizo recordar mis días en el colegio, los momentos donde se crean las alianzas, amistades en la vida.
No sabemos que evento nos levará a conocer el amor incondicional del que tanto hemos oído hablar.
Me imaginé a esos niños jugando y a sus padres disfrutando de la felicidad de sus hijos.
