Mi nombre es Heidy tengo 49 años, vivo en Venezuela, en el Hatillo, una zona muy privilegiada por su clima muy fresco y soleado, sus calles de piedras, sus tiendas artesanales, su gente y sus costumbres autóctonas. Tengo la fortuna de vivir en este pueblo encantador, que además es muy visitado por turistas. Tiene una plaza central, donde todos los sábados y domingos se llena de niños jugando, gente que viene de otras partes del país a relajarse y pasar un día distinto en familia. Si quieres pasar un día diferente, disfrutar de un hermoso clima, degustar deliciosos platillos y postres, el Hatillo es el lugar ideal para ello. Cuando lo visites, cuenta conmigo para una visita guiada.
Yo soy ama de casa, dedicada 100% a mi familia, me encanta cocinar y crear distintas recetas que puedan deleitar el paladar más exigente. Mis hijos, mi familia tienen un paladar muy exigente y me encanta complacerlos. Amo la naturaleza, a mis hijos, mi hogar y mi país, me siento bendecida por tener la familia e hijos que tengo.
Hello everyone, I introduce myself to you. My name is Heidy, I am 49 years old, I live in Venezuela, in El Hatillo, a very privileged area for its very cool and sunny climate, its stone streets, its handicraft stores, its people and its native customs. Por mi amiga @purrix me enteré de la existencia de esta plataforma. Ella siempre me ha hablado acerca de cómo ha sido su experiencia, que ha conocido mucha gente de distintas partes del mundo y para mí, fue tan emocionante que me animó la idea de formar parte de la comunidad, compartir con ustedes mis experiencias, mis recetas, mi vida y también saber más de ustedes, aunque va a ser un poco difícil para mí porque no tengo mucha experiencia en este mundo de la tecnología, pero las ganas de aprender las tengo de sobra. En mí tienen una amiga incondicional.
Ustedes serán para mí una ventana al mundo y yo para ustedes seré una ventana a Venezuela, a mi mundo interior, a mi vida.
How did I hear about Hive?
Through my friend @purrix I learned about the existence of this platform. She has always told me about how her experience has been, that she has met many people from different parts of the world and for me, it was so exciting that I was encouraged by the idea of being part of the community, share with you my experiences, my recipes, my life and also to know more about you, although it will be a little difficult for me because I do not have much experience in this world of technology, but I have plenty of desire to learn. Mi Familia
Mi Familia somos mi esposo Frank, mis hijos Iván e Ignacio y yo. Mi esposo es abogado y multifacético. Sabe hacer de todo, siempre está ávido de conocimiento en cualquier ámbito. Si hay algo que no sabe hacer, lo intenta hasta lograrlo. Mi hijo Iván es mi mano derecha; con apenas 17 años y ya a punto de graduarse de bachiller, es un jovencito lleno de ilusiones y esperanzas como cualquier chico de su edad. Quiere estudiar derecho, criminalística o comunicación social. El menor de la casa, Ignacio estudia 6to grado de primaria, está a punto de salir a bachillerato y me enorgullece decir que el más pequeño, es un genio de la computación.
My Family
My family is my husband Frank, my sons Ivan and Ignacio and myself. My husband is a lawyer and multifaceted. He knows how to do everything, he is always hungry for knowledge in any field. If there is something he doesn't know how to do, he tries until he gets it done. My son Iván is my right hand; he is only 17 years old and about to graduate from high school, he is a young man full of illusions and hopes as any boy of his age. He wants to study law, criminology or social communication. The youngest in the house, Ignacio is in 6th grade, about to go to high school and I am proud to say that the youngest is a computer genius.
Mi pasión
Aparte de la cocina, la fotografía es algo que me apasiona. Recuerdo que desde pequeña, mi papá nos adentraba en ese mundo tan bello del arte de tomar fotos a cada cosa que capturase nuestra atención, a hacerlo desde distintos ángulos y enfoques. Era divertido y genial. Mi papá fue director de cine. Son recuerdos preciosos. En mi país hay un refrán que dice "lo que se hereda no se hurta"; lo comento porque a mi hijo mayor, Iván también le fascina la fotografía.
My Passion
Apart from cooking, photography is something I am passionate about. I remember that since I was a little girl, my dad used to introduce us to the beautiful world of the art of taking pictures of everything that captured our attention, from different angles and approaches. It was fun and great. My dad was a film director. Those are precious memories. In my country there is a saying that goes "what is inherited is not stolen"; I mention this because my eldest son, Ivan is also fascinated by photography.
¿Quién soy?
Soy una mujer leal, buena amiga, trato de ser una buena madre para mis hijos y una buena esposa. Estudié enfermería por vocación, pero no ejerzo en la actualidad porque como comenté antes, estoy dedicada en cuerpo y alma a mis tres amores. Pero antes curaba, ayudaba y acompañaba a las personas que necesitaban ayuda. La enfermería ha sido buena para mi familia porque a la hora de poner una inyección, mi mano es suave. Puedo curar y atender a mi familia.
Mis hobbies
Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer, es ir a la playa, porque me desconecto y entró en contacto con la naturaleza, con el océano, respiro esa atrayente brisa marina, siento que mis baterías se recargan y me siento tan renovada, que me lleno de buenas energías y me alegra el alma. A mis hijos también les fascina la playa y las que más nos gustan son las de la isla de Margarita y Falcón. Cuando vamos, pasamos unos días maravillosos, tomando sol, nadando y comiendo pescado fresco a la orilla del mar.
Who am I?
I am a loyal woman, a good friend, I try to be a good mother to my children and a good wife. I studied nursing by vocation, but I do not practice at present because as I said before, I am dedicated body and soul to my three loves. But I used to heal, help and accompany people who needed help. Nursing has been good for my family because when it comes to giving an injection, my hand is gentle. I can heal and take care of my family.
My hobbies
One of the things I like to do the most is to go to the beach, because I disconnect and get in touch with nature, with the ocean, I breathe that attractive sea breeze, I feel that my batteries are recharged and I feel so renewed, I am filled with good energy and my soul is happy. My children are also fascinated by the beach and the ones we like the most are the ones in Margarita Island and Falcon. When we go, we spend wonderful days sunbathing, swimming and eating fresh fish by the sea.
La repostería.
Me encanta hacer postres, aprender nuevas recetas, compartir las mías y ayudar a quien lo requiera porque me encanta compartir, estoy para servir y ayudar siempre y cuando esté entre mis posibilidades. Y les cuento que mi ayudante es mi hijo menor Ignacio, a quien también le encanta cocinar. ¿Quién sabe si estamos ante un futuro participante en Master Chef? 🤩
Baking.
I love making desserts, learning new recipes, sharing mine and helping whoever needs it because I love to share, I am here to serve and help as long as it is within my possibilities. And I tell you that my assistant is my youngest son Ignacio, who also loves to cook. Who knows if we are facing a future participant in Master Chef? 🤩
La música:
Me encanta escuchar música, me llena el alma, me alegra la vida. Cuando pongo música, me pongo a bailar y a cantar a todo gañote. Sin música la vida sería triste, para mí, es alegría, es vida, es color y yo soy todo eso.
El café
Amo el café. Me encanta compartir un café por la tarde acompañada siempre de buena compañía como lo son mis hijos, mis padres y mis hermanas. Gracias a Dios tengo a mis padres y hermanas cerca de mi casa ya que vivimos en una finca y solemos sentarnos a beber una deliciosa y humeante taza de café, cuando comienza a caer la tarde, mientras conversamos. Es una rutina que espero que jamás desaparezca.
Music:
I love listening to music, it fills my soul, it brightens my life. When I play music, I start dancing and singing at the top of my lungs. Without music life would be sad, for me, it's joy, it's life, it's color and I am all that.
Coffee
I love coffee. I love to share a coffee in the afternoon always accompanied by good company such as my children, my parents and my sisters. Thank God I have my parents and sisters close to my house since we live on a farm and we usually sit down to drink a delicious and steaming cup of coffee, when the afternoon begins to fall, while we talk. It is a routine that I hope will never disappear.

Pero a veces las cosas no son tan buenas Yo sufro de epilepsia desde los 18 años y aunque hago mi vida normal como cualquier persona, luego de muchos años, a los 39 años tuve un accidente en carro a causa de la epilepsia pero gracias a Dios no nos pasó nada, pero no pude manejar más, ahora me dedico al hogar. A mis hijos les he enseñado que uno puede tropezar varias veces con una piedra pero siempre hay que levantarse. Les he demostrado que la vida es bella y mientras tengamos salud no podemos perder el tiempo porque es oro.

But sometimes things are not so good. I have suffered from epilepsy since I was 18 years old and although I lead my normal life like any person, after many years, at 39 years old I had a car accident because of epilepsy but thank God nothing happened to us, but I couldn't drive anymore, now I dedicate myself to the home. I have taught my children that you can trip over a stone several times but you always have to get up. I have shown them that life is beautiful and as long as we are healthy we cannot waste time because it is gold.

Hola amiga @hbarret12 bienvenida, yo obtuve mi cuenta este año, así que también soy nueva, tampoco tengo mucha experiencia con la tecnología y he tratado de ir poco a poco, es fácil, pero nos da temor dar a la tecla equivocada jajaja. Seguro que pondrás tu corazón en lo que publiques porque se ve que eres una persona muy emocional que disfrutas de los detalles, eso es bueno.
