Paso por acá para actualizarles acerca del mini jardín de cactus que renové hace unas semanas, luego de haberle abandonado por meses. Pueden revisar el post que realicé en ese momento aquí.
Lo cierto es que retomé los cuidados del jardín, siendo consciente de que posiblemente algún cactus podría morir por el deterioro que tenía, hablo del cactus más largo y doblado, situado en el lado derecho de esta foto.

I’m stopping by to update you on the mini cactus garden I renovated a few weeks ago, after having neglected it for months. You can check the post I made at that time here.
The truth is that I resumed the care of the garden, being aware that possibly some cactus could die because of the deterioration it had, I’m talking about the longest and most bent cactus, located on the right side of this photo.
De igual manera, continué atenta echándole agua al jardín cada 3 días, sin agregarle nada más. Después de algunos días, noté que el cactus doblado estaba menos flácido y con un poco más de color. Había momentos en los que no me detenía a observarlo, sólo pasaba a echarle agua rápidamente y continuaba con mis actividades, pero ayer… ¡Ayer me sorprendí! El cactus estaba erguido y firme, conservando su leve curvatura. Los días en que no me detuve a observarle, él seguía levantándose. Me alegré muchísimo al notar su recuperación, posterior a tres semanas de haber iniciado a cuidarle nuevamente.
Likewise, I continued to be vigilant about watering the garden every 3 days, without adding anything else. After a few days, I noticed that the bent cactus was less flaccid and with a little more color. There were times when I didn’t stop to look at it, just went on to quickly water it and continue with my activities, but yesterday… Yesterday I was surprised! The cactus was upright and firm, retaining its slight curvature. On days when I didn’t stop to observe him, he kept getting up. I was overjoyed to note his recovery, three weeks after I started caring for him again.
Además, si observan la foto, pueden apreciar que le añadí un par de cactus nuevos. Esos son adoptados, porque estaban despegándose de su mamá cactus, por lo que fueron recibidos en este nuevo hogar. 🤠
Also, if you look at the photo, you can see that I added a couple of new cactus. Those are adopted, because they were detaching/falling off their mom cactus, so they were welcomed in this new home. 🤠
🌵 Reflexiones en torno al cactus que me sorprendió:
- Recuerda detenerte y celebrar los pequeños avances, los imperceptibles, los que al sumarse generan grandiosos acontecimientos y los triunfos más perceptibles.
- Mantente actuando desde el amor y la constancia, desapegado a los resultados.
- Sé paciente con tus procesos y con los procesos de los demás.
🌵 Reflections on the cactus that surprised me:
- Remember to stop and celebrate the small advances, the imperceptible ones, those that when added together generate great events and the most perceptible triumphs.
- Keep acting from love and constancy, detached from the results.
- Be patient with your processes and with the processes of others.
