Today, my wife and I decided to have lunch at the mall. We rarely do this, unless there is a special occasion.
It felt good to just get out of the routine for the sake of it.
We ate pasticho at a place we had never eaten before. We accompanied that pasticho with some carrot and passion fruit juice.
For dessert we had some chocolate and peanut cake. It was all delicious and even though we may not be doing this as often as we wish, we feel we can do it more often than we thought. It's just a matter of giving ourselves what we deserve because we have worked hard for it.
After that, we walked a bit and bought a couple of pending items. I got myself a shirt to work and she got some jeans she has been wanting to buy for a while.
Life is short. We keep focusing on the priorities. We don't spend money lightly, but from now on, we'll try to indulge ourself in this little things most people take for granted in many places around the world.
