Wooden Stongehenge? I'm back, sharing some nature photos in the local park & a magnificent heron...

in GEMS4 years ago

Hi everyone! I have recently moved to my student house for my final year at university and I have not had wi-fi for the last 9 days so have not been able to post as often as I would like to. I will share some photos I took of the parks that are very close to where I live and some of the experiences in the last few days.

The closest park to me has what looks like a wooden stonehenge. From a distance it looks almost like the actual one. I do not know when or how exactly this was built but makes an interesting sculpture for the park regardless.

The wooden pillars surround a circle to which you can walk into. I was a little hesitant at first walking through the entrance pillars.

This is the same heron close up. I had to walk slowly and take it to make sure it wouldn't fly away.
